Not many frills but great location and surprisingly quiet. Clean, fridge and air conditioning worked, and you could walk to two good dinner restaurants and Mo’s great breakfast diner. Shuttle to the more touristy area and cog railway is right down the block at daze inn. Recommend !

Clean room and freindly staff, but air conditioner took until midnight to cool the room enough so we didn't sweat. Continental breakfast didn't open until 8:00am and consisted of bottled water, protein bars, lemon bread and one kind of cookie.

The hotel has not been updated since the 70's. The rooms were clean, so was the linens but need new pillows and sheets are needed. For a reasonable price in a high cost town it works as long as you are not expecting the Hilton. Ask for a room on the creek side as they are quiet and there are places to set and enjoy the creek.

The owners were friendly especially since we got it late . The room was very musty smelling , the tv didn’t even face the bed so you had to turn it and the dresser it was on to watch it from the bed . Breakfast was a joke - cookies , granola bars and pound cake from The store . No snack machines , the ground leading to the rooms in back was very uneven . The parking for the rooms in back was very narrow - don’t try to take a full size truck back there, luckily we had hubs small car and not my big truck . The lingering musty smell was so bad that everything we brought home - clothes - cpap smelled musty . It’s so old you get 1 key to get in the room . Toilet is right against the wall .

We messaged the property before arriving to confirm that we would be arriving late at night and never received a response back. When we arrived, no one was on site to check us in and no one was answering our calls, voicemails, and messages. We were unable to stay on site, so I requested a refund, only to be told it was "our fault for not communicating" that we'd be checking in late and that a refund would not be issued. We recevied zero communication about their late check in policy prior to arrival, but we always let hotels know if a late check in is expected, because we value communication. Only after the fact did we find out that this hotel must be told about late check ins, WHICH WE DID. And we were still not able to stay there. Very disappointed in the lack of communication and professionalism,

Very small bathroom and shower. Had many dead bugs on the sink and cobwebs all above the sink. I cleaned them off. Also smelled of weed pretty strongly upon entering. Not sure if it was the unit below or an adjacent unit, but I got used to it. Was good in a pinch. Would recommend updating carpet/furniture, and do a more thorough job of cleaning.

Perfect place next to Garden of the gods!

Some of the decor is on the dated side, but the place is a quaint little motel.
