"Very nice place to stay. Old school vibes! Room was perfect. Pool was great and right outside your door, and Bear Lake with small swimming area within walking distance. If your a boater, I noticed, plently of lake access. 15 minutes to downtown Manistee & lake Mi."

"Booked for one night after a day of golf and it was perfect. Extremely clean. May seem weird to mention but the water pressure was great and the bathroom/shower area was very clean. Staff was super friendly at check in and the dogs were sweet!! Would definitely stay here again! "

"Do not second guess this hotel. Book now!!!! While on a road trip with my son we were looking for budget, and we hit the jackpot here. This hotel is nestled in the middle of Historic Downtown Manistee, about 50 minutes from Sleepy Bear Dunes. This hotel can be termed casual, laid-back. The rooms are roomy, well decorated as you see in the pictures, and very comfortable. There is a chocolate and ice cream shop next door. Down the street a little further is a nice hotdog and hamburger shop with pin ball machines still a quater. Or you can go to some of the fancier places. I wish I had more time to explore this town. I don't know if I'll ever be back. But if I do MIM will be my go to. You just can't go wrong by staying here."

"The door locking mechanism wasn't fully secure. It locked but with the wind there was banging."
