「The entrance and lobby at this hotel are simply gorgeous, a real attention to detail makes this a welcoming environment. The rooms are spacious and clean, and although the balconies are small, they do provide a lovely view. The solarium area and sunbathing spaces are ample and both pools were refreshing. The pool bar has lots of options and a nice food menu. Overall, having stayed in 5 or 6 hotels in the vicinity, Hotel Alay has proved to be my favourite and actually great value for money...

「Excellent place to stay. Minutes from the station and right in the centre of town so close to all the shops, cafes and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and comfortable. Good WiFi. Plenty of hot water and a good powerful shower. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Would certainly recommend if you want to be in the town rather than on the seafront. 」

「Lovely, very helpful and accommodating staff. The amenities, it has evening and the buffet food is varied and really tasty, they have thought of everything. 」

「Had a junior suite with a sea view. Room was well equipped, nice little kitchen for making tea/coffee, making a bit of brunch. Supermarket downstairs, fresh bread and cakes, well stocked and reasonably priced. Bed was so comfortable and huge, highly recommend. 」

「Firstly, every member of staff were so welcoming and did everything possible to ensure we had a good holiday. Room was spotless and well equipped for self-catering. Position one street back from beach. Only downside was that towels only changed every 3 days and sheets weekly although I believe you can pay for extra service.」
