「The hotel is beautiful but the amenities were not clear when it had to do with the restaurants. It’s not and all inclusive if you don’t have a clear explanation on what you have to paid for ahead of time.」

「Nice service and friendly staff」

「Stunning views, gorgeous sauna, and lovely outdoor pool. Would recommend a car for exploring!」

「Older hotel but in a great location in Funchal. Walkable area, shopping mall with grocery store within 2 minutes walking distance. Lots of restaurants nearby. The rooftop pool was well maintained although we didn’t have time to use it, the rooftop views were great. The breakfast buffet was good, although repetitive as all hotel breakfasts are. Overall we enjoyed our stay at Hotel Madeira.」

Reported it to reception and they arranged for a deep clean, but they still came back, needed some ant killer or repellent down. View from the balcony was great, but it was spoilt by the main room in from of the hotel (but that is...

「Lovely base with plenty of nice restaurants close by!」

「It’s a good hotel with the best view. We love here.」
