"Great location! Steps from some of the best restaurants, the train station, and bussing up to Machu Picchu. If you get a room facing the river, the views are magnificent. The constant roar of the river rapids makes for great sleep. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I have stayed in other hotels in this town, as well as looked into just about all of them. For the price, the suites facing the river are the best I have found."

"Property is good choice for overnight stay. Room was clean and comfortable. I was disappointed that my standard room was inside with window facing internal corridor. Right next to elevator means you get noise but at least I didn’t hear the train. Booked at last minute so was expensive for what I got. Staff excellent/helpful. Overall hotel meets 3 star rating."

"This, by far, was the noisiest hotel I’ve stayed at. Chairs scraping on hard floors, every footstep on the open staircase, loud music, carrying voices, slamming doors. Just the worst. The room did not in the slightest look like the pictures. It was a stuffy, tiny room with no window to outside; rather, it opened to some kind of shaft that allowed no fresh air. I paid about US$90/night, which is a little higher than other local hotels. On the bright side, the restaurant was excellent and the staff were friendly. I would not recommend this property and regret my choice to stay here."

"Very nice stay, with a bit of a climb to get there (about 80 stairs). Sometimes it was difficult to find the receptionist, but when they were there they were very helpful. There were no outlets or lights at your bedside, limited views or windows, and not the most comfortable/warm blankets. Overall it was a very nice stay, with a great breakfast buffet and a beautiful view from the upstairs roof !"
