「Its new and clean and very well thought-out, very quiet and comfortable. The food at dinner and breakfast was very good and also the service with just a couple of minor issues. The biggest concern was the car park at the bottom of the hill, with lots of steps in the dark, wind and rain : not so pleasant. Drop of luggage at the reception is strongly advised.」

「All staff were excellent, super friendly and helpful, I'd booked an attic room but seeing my husband on crutches they immediately swapped us into a first floor room which I think was an upgrade as it had a huge freestanding copper bath and Chesterfield sofa as well as a king (or maybe super king) sized bed. 「Perfect location between Barter Book and the Playhouse with bus stop right outside. Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice patio outside to enjoy summer evenings. Not fancy, but if your tastes are simple and you want an affordable base from which to explore the area, this is the place for you. 」
