「Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!」

「We only stayed one night with a 5:30am start. The check in was extremely easy and I must say Cameron went out his way to be pleasant to everyone. Jo in the restaurant was also very good and pleasant nothing seemed too much trouble for the staff and the hotel and management should be very proud of them.」

「A lovely county pub in a nice setting. Clean, comfortable rooms with lots of little extras, fresh milk, free water and a little bottle of chocolate port. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pub itself served good food. Would highly recommend.」

「Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

「Really enjoyable stay for our 26th wedding anniversary. Hotel has been recently completely refurbished and every surface is clean as a whistle. Super room with Nespresso coffee machine and marge brand new TV and huge bathroom Breakfast was way about average. I would call this a 5 star experince rather than 4 star.」
