Outstanding hotel the rooms were so so good And the view just spot on was very impressed with this hotel and the staff Folkestone has never been on my radar for a break, however after staying here on our way home from France we will definitely be staying here in the future if only to see the hotel and the staff

We chose the hotel because it is dog-friendly. We had some issues, but the staff sorted them out. Parking was paid for at the hotel, which was on the road. There was a blue badge holder’s parking space on the road, not far from the hotel, too. The room was large with a low sofa. We chose a king-size bed. It also had a bath on the lower floor, which I requested because of my health issues. It was very clean, had small amenities, and we could drink water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the room. We bought a half board when we booked. The dinner was either a starter and a main or a main and a dessert. They were delicious. There was a happy hour—two of the same cocktails for £15 in the hotel on the days. The cocktails were lovely. The breakfast had a full selection, all very freshly made and tasty. There was a continental breakfast, too. On Sunday, we could choose breakfast from the buffet as much as we liked, and on Monday, they brought the hot English breakfast to our plates. A drink from the Tochibo machine offered delicious coffee and mocha. All staff members were very friendly, helpful, and hardworking. Thank you very much to all staff members. Our dogs and we had a pleasant time in the hotel. We hope to come back again.

Really enjoyable stay. Room was bigger than any we’ve stayed in Folkstone - junior suit. Woke up to the sun rise and staff were above and beyond. Would go back. Great breakfast.

Lovely hotel, friendly, helpful staff throughout hotel. Room was large and comfortable with really nice bathroom. We had dinner in the evening which was excellent as was the breakfast the following day. Lots of choice for breakfast, buffet style, all cooked items were hot. Parking in road outside, which is chargeable (£7). Great hotel and will stay again. Thank you.

Room was very clean, nice and spacious for a normal hotel room, let alone a cosy room which we had chosen! Bathroom very modern and both were freshly decorated. Good tea/coffee facilities and tv/lighting all working perfectly. Staff very friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend! All this and it’s right in the seafront and cheap!

I really want to pass on my sincerest thanks to the Team at The View for making significant effort on my / our behalf. The room was just lovely, facing the sea, huge bed, really clean and well presented. My special thanks goes to the Housekeeping Team for the balloons and “birthday cake” (complete with candles) on the bed, so above and beyond, with care & detail.
