「We booked the same day for 4 of us. Fantastic hostess, Farrah. My cousin and our Mothers, my cousin is pregnant so Farrah gave me a seperate room next door so we had 2 bathrooms at no extra cost. Great location, very warm and friendly atmosphere. All the places recommended to us in the area were great and we had a fantastic stay! Would highly recommend.」

「Does the job really! If you need a quick night's stay before getting the ferry or tunnel then it's ideal, however be aware that some rooms have no windows and the place is a *little* rundown. Main receptionist was really nice and very helpful - I would stay again but only for short stays.」

「Super friendly staff who were easy to converse with, the inn was well maintained with vintage roots and a splash off modern. The food was excellent. On the listing it does say they have laundry facilities, but after asking it turns out they don’t. So be aware if that is a need. I would surely go back again if I am in the area!」

「What a fantastic place! The hotel was in a great location and very close to Dover and the Castle by cab. The rooms were very clean and comfortable and contained beautiful decorations. The staff were super nice and helpful. The restaurant was amazing, delicious food, very attentive service and great drinks! It felt like home! We will definitely be back.」

「Lovely olde world pub-restaurant. Excellent food, both breakfasts and evening meals.This is a real heart of the community pub, with lots going on, including a Petanque match, when we were there. Check-in at the bar was easy. The service was very friendly and excellent throughout. A well stocked bar, including a local beer, 'Gem' by name and 'Gem' by nature. The en-suite double room was clean and comfortablebut you are better off relaxing in the bars downstairs, where there was two dining lounges...

「Difficult to find, on a fishmarket, no way to check in earlier then 3pm (even when the room is ready), but Folkestone is great, that makes it more then okay! Room is small but very cosy. No closets, bathroom is small and not practical. Good bed, super view, great (expensive) diner at Rocksalt restaurant. Very nice stay」
