「The hotel is well situated, it took about 15 to 20 minutes to walk to town, on a nice day it's a pleasant stroll. The room was very clean and spacious, the bed and pillows were comfortable.Tea and coffee facilities were also provided. The staff in the pub were very welcoming and friendly. 「We had a wonderful time staying at the Ashbourne Hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel so welcome by Fiona. The house is absolutely beautiful and our room was so comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location in Fulford was perfect for exploring York, and we really appreciated all the helpful tips that Fiona gave us.」

「This hotel was vey horrible. The bed and quilt and bed are full of stain. The room, corridor and carpet are very dirty, they are full of sour smell (like vomit after drunk), the heater and exhaust fan are dusty, and a lot of louse and ants. 100% not recommend!!!!」

「Room was lovely and comfy. Very clean wth en-suite, shower with amenities, towels body/shower gel, conditioner, hand cream and soap. Comfy double bed, the room had a coffee machine, kettle, fan and hairdryer. 32 inch TV suitable for room size. Complimentary breakfast more of a continental style but not fully. Teas, coffees, cereals, fruit, small selection of juices and toaster and microwave. Host was on hand to make hot drinks and toast, very hospitable and friendly. Guest are welcome to help...
