Fabulous room, comfortable bed, clean. Lovely dinner in the room. I had an issue with the door and the guy in charge came and sorted it straight away. I think an extra lock from the inside would have made me feel more comfortable as a single woman travelling alone.

Super friendly staff. Good shower. Comfy bed. Filter coffee in room. Room was very small and stuffy. Tiny window looking over noisy beer garden area. TV didnt work.

Very clean, nicely furnished , quaint old stone walls in the dining room / bar , nice beer garden , very good dinner menu, Bedroom was pretty small and a little cramped but quiet and bathroom was new with very nice towels. The walk in shower was great but needed a non-slip mat as the floor was lethally slippy when wet. The cooked breakfast was very nice but needed a better choice of cereals, fruit etc. A very nice stay overall.

My daughter and I stayed at the Fox and Coney because we were attending a wedding locally. The management ensured we had a twin room. The room was clean. There were tea and coffee making facilities (much appreciated) the bathroom was nice with plenty of loo roll. There was plenty of space to hang our clothes. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. Breakfast next morning was excellent - both the food and the service. I would stay here again.

The ‘cosy’ room was quite compact, as was expected. The sliding door between the bedroom and the bathroom was not tight-closing. General standards, such as bed linen, were good. The moules mariniere were brilliant!

Nice room. Breakfast overpriced with no reduction for continental option - we didn't choose this and went to the local cafe! Dinner was a shambles. Clearly a good chef and helpful and hard-working staff .... but spoilt by lack of management and understaffing.
