「Traditional and comfortable. Lovely decor and the riverside location was perfect, although it did rain mostly but did not detract from the experience. Kev and Katheryn were very welcoming and friendly. The full English breakfast was so good and very generous. We had a lovely view of the river whilst partaking, enhancing the experience! 「We arrived to a warm welcome and homemade cakes which got our weekend off to a great start. Garden Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay and breakfast on the patio looking towards Ross on Wye was a wonderful way to start our days. The walk to Ross on Wye takes between 20-30 minutes depending on your pace and has a few half way attractions, the historical Wilton Bridge and Wilton Castle, so the stroll seems to take no time at all. 「The Priory was a delightful find situated in the Herefordshire countryside about 4 miles from Hereford. We stayed in one of the self-contained apartments which was both comfortable and well-equipped. The owners were very helpful and responded very quickly to questions we had pre-arrival including a recommendation for an evening meal at the Bell Inn in Tillington. 」
