"There is a nice recreation room for pool, board games, foosball and swimming. It's close to casinos and game areas. Good for travelling with small children too. Overall nice place to stay."

"My wife and I stay at this location quite often. Since it is located in Sparks, we can avoid the resort fee charged by the hotels located within the city of Reno proper. That comes close to covering the cost of one meal a day for the two of us. The location is conveniently located on the edge of the Sparks Marina Lake. There is a walkway surrounding the entire lake. It takes about 45 minutes to casually walk the entire route, though you will be inclined to stop and enjoy sights along the way. Lots of birds and critters to entertain you. The hotel is a standalone structure adjacent to the casino. It has three stories. In order to get a room with a view of the lake, you need to part with an extra $10. We had never done that, instead choosing to just go to the lake and enjoy it. But this time I decided we would treat ourselves. Well, much to my disappointment our lake view was shrouded by a large tree growing in front of our room window. Note to self: if you pay for the view, you probably need to get a third story room. If not, save the $10, walk around the lake and buy a ticket to a show at the Legends iMAX theater. It's one of numerous businesses at the Legends Mall on the east side of the lake. Overall, we have always enjoyed our stay here. Admittedly it's not like a downtown Reno hotel and casino. Exactly, and that is why we love it. And the food at Pancho's and Willie's Restaurant is really tasty."
