Ridiculously hot with only 1 window that opened. A ridge under the carpet that was a trip hazard and a bathroom that was filthy. Returned to reception again and was offered a 3rd room to look at but decided to...

「The grounds are stunning with so much potential but it feels very much a work in progress. We used paddle boards on the lake, which was fab but an additional charge on top of a very expensive room. The sauna wasn’t quite up to heat, we stoked the wood burning hot tub for a dip, tried the lake to cool off and the cold plunge was unfortunately empty. The room was nice and clean. I booked the junior suite but ended up getting a suite. It didn’t feel any more special than a deluxe room elsewhere...
