A lovely place. Step right out onto Eastbourne promenade which is a delightful walk. Everything in the room and hotel were excellent and the owners were charming. Comfortable and well managed.

This hotel is a great find in Eastbourne. Checkin was smooth, the room was lovely and the location is unbeatable. Parking was really easy on the prom, although I imagine it could be difficult in the summer.

Beautiful boutique hotel

We came to see the Turner Prize exhibition and had an amazing stay at Port! It’s such a beautiful hotel and all the design touches are wonderful. David on reception was also very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast the next day!

Very cute

Lovely cute little hotel opposite the seaside. We had a lovely sea view room with great views. Room was big and spacious and lovely designed. Staff were very friendly as well. Great for a night or two, and close to the town centre and pier.

My wife and I had an incredible stay at the lovely Port Hotel with a stunning waterfront view providing gently rolling waves for ambience with the windows cracked open. The staff were perfect and the Eastbourne waterfront was everything we'd hoped for an authentic English coastal experience. Although was not an issue for us, be aware there are no elevators so if you book an upper floor then you're in for a good workout getting up and down the stairs daily -- especially getting heavy bags up and down. Overall, 10 out of 10 highly recommend!

Loved this beautiful hotel - the staff were so helpful and friendly. It was cosy even on a stormy weekend, with easy access to everything you could need. My only tiniest point would be to have body lotion in the bathroom, but that’s such a tiny thing and didn’t detract from the fantastic experience.

A beautiful seafront hotel that really stands out. The design is amazing from the lobby to the rooms, which are very comfortable. The amenities offered were as expected. Was quite disappointed that I had to download an app in order to come in as there was no staff present at 6pm when I was checking in.

Really friendly. Lovely room overlooking the sea. Had the duck burger and wagyu fries and was very tasty. Breakfast was great and overall i really enjoyed the stay. Plus there was parking outside so very handy. Oh and you can see the pier from the window so ask for room 10. Shhh

A spa getaway but with your ‘toddler’

It was really nice and cosy little things that made it different - coffee machine, nice towels and enough of them, lots of extra pillows. Nice shampoo/handwash gels. Only downfalls no network at all on our phones as our room was in the basement downstairs and also no sunlight or any outside few when you dont have it you realise how much of a difference it makes. Location was wonderful

AMAZING 😻

Port hotel was such a fun experience. The hotel has a boutique feel. The staff were all so friendly, nice and helpful. The interior of the hotel was beautiful and well decorated. I highly enjoyed the small touches in the room. It is well situated and close to the beach and town. Overall it was 10/10! Highly recommend!

Perfect weekend getaway by the sea

Everything was perfect. The staff were friendly and helpful with everything. We stayed in the studio apt (room 5) and it was amazing, even better than the photos. Amazing sea views out of 4 gigantic windows, an enormous soft bed, an equally enormous bathroom with centrally-placed bath, 2 sinks, and a very nice shower. Really appreciated the extra details in the room, including binoculars for sea gazing and record player. It really is a home away from home. Although there is a main road on the coast the traffic was not bad and road noise did not bother us during the staff. The room itself is very well insulated and we could not hear other rooms/ the downstairs bar. The location is great, a few min walk from the pier, about 10 min walk from from very good restaurants. The station is very walkable, less than 20 min. Breakfast and coffee were great as well. Really can't recommend this hotel enough

Beautiful room, service could be better

The hotel was recently renovated and we had a beautiful room with both bath and shower (room 6). The bed was super comfy and the view from the window was fab. With the windows up you can go to sleep listening to the sound of the sea. The only downside was check in was very slow - due to weather everyone arrived at same time but more staff would really help, especially on a Saturday. We were left waiting for 45 minutes and a couple wanting to eat in the restaurant were unable to due to the waiting check in. I guess they're working on logistics and perhaps short staffed. The morning we were departing they got the rooms mixed up and inadvertantly walked in on us as we were getting ready to leave, which was a bit of a shock.
