MONEY STOLEN!! We stayed for 4 nights total and on our last day there, we noticed $500 was stolen from my wallet. No one else had been inside our hotel room except our family and THE CLEANING STAFF. During our second day there, in the morning when I tried to enter my hotel room, there were two cleaning ladies inside my room, and one of them was at the door, HOLDING THE DOOR SHUT while I used my keycard to try to enter. I could hear the other cleaning lady on the other side of the room, and they were speaking to each other in Spanish in a very panicked manner; the one at the door was telling the other lady to hurry up. Once I entered, they quickly rushed out of the room. When I realized my money was stolen in the morning of the day we were checking out, I finally made the connection of what had happened that day when they tried to stop me from entering the room, and how they were the only possible suspects of stealing $500 out of my wallet. We submitted a claim with the hotel while we were checking out, and have never heard since. They promised they would investigate the situation and reach out to us. It's been a whole month and we haven't heard anything. DO NOT recommend your friends and family to stay at this location! We will definitely not be coming back.

I would not recommend staying at El Encanto All Inclusive Resort (also known as Hacienda Encantada Resort & Residences). This was my first trip to Cabo with my sister. The restaurants, waiters, pool service, grounds, and views were absolutely 5-star. Unfortunately, our room and the customer service were 1-star. The room was in poor condition — peeling paint, loose and corroded fixtures, cracked light switches, and ongoing toilet problems. Despite multiple trips to the front desk and promises to send maintenance, the issue was never properly fixed. We went 2½ days without a working toilet and had to use the pool washroom one night. i had to facetime my brother in law in Canada to walk us through fixing the toilet. Housekeeping issues included missing towels, being hung up on when calling, and staff entering despite our “Do Not Disturb” sign. No compensation was offered, and our final bill included unclear daily resort fees.

This resort was outstanding. Staff are so kind and helpful. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The 2 bedroom suite was more than enough space for our family of 2 adults and 3 teens. We had a an excellent experience. We were told we were upgraded to Vista when we arrived, which enabled us to use the rooftop pool and restaurant, that was an awesome upgrade. I will say, you still had to wake up early to claim any shade/lounger. People saved theirs with towels and then went to eat for a couple hours. Another thing I did not expect at the rooftop pool were children who were loud, splashing and throwing toys around. This annoyance was added to this family occupying 6 shade/loungers. I understand they paid to be there. But they didn’t pay to impact everyone around them in the way they did. If you are on the Vista side, you will hear construction from 8am to 8:30pm. You didn’t hear this at the roof top pool. The staff on the arrival were very high pressure to do the time share presentation. (Another guest told us it was 4 hours, not the 90 min they say) She was relentless, and cornered my mom on multiple days. We did not attend. The food was excellent, everyone was able to find something they liked at every restaurant. I would recommend it to others. It was a great resort.

We just stayed at El Encanto for 7 days. It has been the Best All Inclusive I ever experienced. The staff go above and beyond. The food was excellent!! Our favorite, was the Italian restaurant. The views are Exceptional!! The pools are everywhere. The only negative is that they are a timeshare, they can be very aggressive!!! They don’t take no for an answer, we just didn’t show up. I’m on vacation, I really don’t want to be pressured into things. Tips are a Big thing for them, All Inclusive should just mean that.

I was very happy with our experience. Very clean, everywhere. All of the staff were friendly. The dinner restaurants were amazing. Claudia and Rafael saved us a favorite table for breakfast. Perfect for whale watching! We had wonderful meals and service. Pool and patio bar ( Oscar was great!)food and service was great. Try the Mexican pizza!! Our concierge service was outstanding. Johana helped answer so many questions for us. We enjoyed the spa twice during our stay. Both Lupita and Rosa performed lovely massages. An amazing place to enjoy whale watching from our suite, from pools and most restaurants too.

All inclusive is not really all inclusive and you feel like 2nd class citizen, even if you upgrade to premium. Rooms are not cleaned well. They constantly try to sell you their partial ownership program. Food is ok. In some cases not seasoned. Buffet is only breakfast and the rest is restaurant style with a check that you need to wait for and sign at the end, even if you have premium all inclusive. Despite being relatively new, the property is not maintained well. There are very beautiful views though and the wait staff really tries hard. But the nickel and diming is very annoying

I actually hesitated posting it because I almost want to keep this gem a secret :) Checkin was smooth. We arrived at about 3 pm and were able to get into our room right away. The booking site said every room has a balcony. We were put on the ground floor (obviously no balcony lol) I booked garden view by accident 😂. The room was a bit tired but lovely. Due to some unusual circumstances we were moved to a room with a balcony. It is worth the upgrade if you are pondering. The restaurants both on site and in the golden zone were all very good with some being excellent. It is nice to be able to get into town on the shuttle and to grab a cocktail when you are thirsty. Los Deseos in town serves phenomenal made to order breakfast and fabulous Mexican entrees for lunch or dinner. Our server, Cristiam was wonderful. He even told us where to shop for tequila to bring home. It was our favourite spot for meals. The facilities are gorgeous. The pools sparkle and the service is outstanding. We were able to see whales breaching right from our pool deck chairs. The service from the bellmen and wait staff was excellent. Erich, one of the golf cart drivers was exceptional. We were a bit freaked out having to sign every receipt but it seems that is how they track things at the Hacienda. And last but not least a special thank you to Jorge, the front desk supervisor. A front desk employee made a small error but Jorge was on the situation until resolution. Gracias Jorge!

The rooms need some attention, very dated but more concerning is the cleanliness. Really need a good deep clean with walls, light switches, flooring and counter surfaces being dirty. The grounds of resort are beautiful, food is great and staff is friendly!

Staff support was BAD,got double charged at the spa which has mold in the women’s room. Second time we got the EXACT SAME ROOM WITH THE EXACT SAME ISSUES FROM 2 YEARS AGO! Our hot tub would not get hot, lights did not work, bathroom tub wouldn’t hold water as the plug is cocked into the drain with actual cocking.. we of course express our issue immediately as we checked immediately and again they did move us to another room that had no issues. We wanted to give the resort a second shot because 1 we go on vacation to relax and enjoy. 2 the resort has a upgrade option to visit the sistering resorts & enjoy them well as much as we love that aspect the staff and the service has completely ruined the resort for us. Finding out at check out we got double charged for the spa our concierge made us go to the spa to get the charge fixed and as it was a booking error by BRIAN who books the services (week day specials) by the pool the spa staff said we had to pay for his mistake and would only allow this one time for it to be accommodated back to the original price?!?! I have never experienced staff actually arguing with me over their mistake and alone wording things as if we are lucky this time. My husband did get food poising but of course that could be from anything anywhere but the options to dining was not as open as it was 2 years ago if you do not have a reservation you CAN NOT DINE THERE! So we had pool side snacks almost the entire time because we do enjoy not planning DO BETTER

An amazing all-inclusive that checked ALL the boxes! Beautiful resort grounds, nice spacious room, friendly and helpful staff, outstanding 5 star dining… Along with incredible views and sunsets. Easily the best all inclusive we have ever stayed at!

My husband and I visited El Encanto All Inclusive at Hacienda Encantada for the 2nd time in December 2025. We had the best time and definitely preferred 2 weeks over the way too short 1 week stay the 1st time around. The grounds are stunning and so well kept, and we really enjoyed walking all around exploring the hidden fountains and the church. Our room was clean and very comfortable, and we had the best sleeps because this Resort isn’t a party place, so noise wasn’t an issue during the night. And because we are Expedia Members, we were offered an ocean view room at no extra cost which made our trip that much more special. Our meals in all of the à la carte and pool restaurants were very good, but our favourite lunch spot was La Pergola. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had and my husband really enjoyed their fish tacos. Everyday we were welcomed with huge smiles and greetings from Margarita and Denis. When not dining at an à la carte, we had lovely meals overlooking the ocean at Il Forno. Angel and Noe treated us exceptionally well whether we were just stopping in for a night cap or sitting down for a delicious dinner. Barolo, the Italian restaurant, was exceptional. The host, Gabriel, was always accommodating and made sure we had everything that we needed. Everyday we enjoyed the sun at El Patio. We always found the perfect spot on the sand, and bar none had the best service from Ingrid, Cesar, Omar, and Miguel. We hope to be back again in the near future!

The grounds at Hacienda Encantada are beautiful, but unfortunately the facilities and service did not match the setting. Much of the property feels mismanaged and in disrepair. In our room, the towel rack fell off the wall when we hung a towel, and our porch lights never worked despite requesting maintenance. We purchased the premium all-inclusive wristbands and felt misled by what was included. The lobster tail and other “premium” meals were underwhelming and often subpar, and the additional amenities did not justify the cost. We also found one of our razors shattered in the shower. We can only assume this happened during cleaning, yet we were never notified, which was concerning. The pools were not heated and frequently quite cold. When we asked staff for help with various issues, we were repeatedly told it was their first day and they didn’t know how to assist us. One particularly frustrating moment was at breakfast, when we were told the espresso machine was broken—only to hear the same waitress taking espresso orders from another table 15 minutes later. We’ve stayed at Pueblo Bonita properties before and decided to try something new this trip. Unfortunately, we were disappointed and will not be returning. This list could easily be longer, but there is a character limit.
