This is a little jewel .9 miles from the Cruise Ship Terminal. It has nicely remodeled baths, was very clean and well kept, and the staff is delightful. This will be our go-to from now on for pre-cruise stays.

Room was clean - front desk guy was awesome - requested 2extra pillows, which were delivered. No frills hotel, no hotel parking, only street parking - but all was good. Walked 2 blocks for dinner which was convenient. Very close to Cruise port, which was a time saver and ultra convenient.

Clean room and comfortable bed. Only problem was all the steps to get up to the entrance especially with luggage. Except for that a great room at a good price. The front desk person even gave me a bottle of Water without asking

This is a very basic property-we needed a place to sleep getting in from LAX at midnight, boarding a cruise ship the next day. The room was clean, bed linens clean and the desk staff were very nice and helpful. You can walk to the cruise port-it’s about a 20 minute walk. Uber from LAX to this motel is about $82 USD It has a “boarding house” feel to it and our room backed into the main stairwell…not overly quiet…value priced and I felt a fair price for what it was.

The room was renovated in a modern style with a large tile bathroom. Much better than I expected for motel 6. But doesn't have any driveway or parking, making it difficult for Uber pickup.

The gentleman at the front desk was great, he let me check in early at 145pm or so despite official check in time is 3pm. The room we got was a king bed room. It was neat and tidy, very basic bare bones kind of room. No bedside lamps, no shampoo or conditioners. No kettle or microwave. There was ample small bars of soap provided. Less used places was a bit dusty though, like the headboard ledge, the little open cubbies on the side tables and desk. But it didnt bother us too much since we didnt use those surfaces, however, it should be dusted though. The floors looked clean but after awhile, you can see the accumulation of dust to the bottoms of my indoor sandals, and my sandals are brand new. So i wouldnt recommend bare footing it. Otherwise, i do give it 5 stars for my stay as it was what I expected. Its close enough to the cruise port without needing to pay the premium, about 20min downhill walk. Affordable and perfect for a one night stay before a cruise for my husband and I.

This hotel was exactly what it promises to be. It was reasonably priced and relatively safe (all residential houses around it) to spend the night before getting on our cruise the next day!

The staff it was very helpful and even allowed me to doi an early check in (with a fee) and woke up early for my check out (7am) . However the corridors were smelly and the carpet was full of dust and like dog hair (like wet carpet or dog smell), the room was smelling funny too (like bathroom) so i had to go out and get a spray and also ventilate the room. The AC was dusty and bit moldy. THERE WAS NO POOL

We are disappointed because our booking was different. When we booked at that time it was a big frontage with motel 6 . It turn out to be in some kind of housing street . Left and right are single family dwellers. No swimming pool where your site said with pool. No coffee in the room . A tiny room , likely morning have coffee in the front desk. Staff are friendly and helpful. Just that for price of c$150 we expected a better stay. This is my very first mistake in booking hotel , always check 300% before placing a booking . Likely , the staff help to carry our luggages up over 10 step to get to the front desk. There is no elevator, likely they book us on ground floor. As we have total of 4 luggages.

The staff was super accommodating! I showed up at noon from my flight and they held my luggage (seemed sketchy coming from the maid to put it in an abondoned bathroom, but hey!) it was safe while the front desk guy was out to lunch and check in wasnt until 3pm so I could tour around. I even called to make sure front desk knew it was there and I was to check in. He was super friendly and ease my mind about just leaving it there, even told me to take my time, enjoy touring hollywood and see me when I get there. The outside is not super attractive but the rooms were super clean, nothing special but great water pressure!!! The bathrooms could use a shampoo and conditioner for travelers because they only had 1 tiny motel bar of soap. A mini fridge to hold my leftover supper and water bottles would have been a much appreciated amenity that was missing also! Biggest issue is the neighbours, they are so close the houses beside that with my window open I felt like they were in the next room or could hear us the same way but what really can you do about it and also could have been just my specific room because the building longer than it looks and has a second floor I didnt go up.
