"The room was clean but….needed some TLC. Carpet needed a deep shampoo cleaning. The bathroom while nice needs a remodel-peeling wallpaper, very low sinks and outdated, scratched cabinets. Needed new window drapes(were stained) and new patio doors-they have condensation on them as they aren’t double paned. Trees on patio need to be trimmed to view the beautiful golf course and water feature by main entrance. Water in sink smells of sulfur (i assume from well) needs a treatment. It’s a beautiful resort in a stunning location, great amenities. But needs someone to invest in the upkeep needed to bring it from 1996 to 2026."

"Mostly everything works. Very good for nature lovers looking for some hiking and camping. The place is so peaceful, away to civilization but all good. Internet is kinda poor, not a good place if you're going to bring your work with you in here. The swimming pool is good with the very nice view and if the weather permits. Yes you can cook, kitchen is accessible just bring all what you need 'coz the nearest store is 15mins away outside the resort. Staffs are approachable and friendly. We'll definitely come back for peaceful short vacation."

"Loved everything about this hotel. The foyer is amazing. Yes it needs some TLC and the current owners are dealing with that. We really enjoyed the pool. Special thanks to the cleaning staff. Our room was spotless and smelled so fresh when we arrived. In fact all of the staff were very welcoming. Kerrville is a very pretty town and with a visit."
