dieses Hotel bekommt von mir eine 3/10. Als wir am ersten Tag angekommen sind, wurden wir gleich sehr unfreundlich begrüßt und haben uns nur böse Blicke gefangen. In der Buchung steht „Frühstück inbegriffen“ aber man bekommt das Frühstück nicht mit dazu, sondern man muss 10 Pfund pro Person, pro Frühstück bezahlen. Das es Wlan gibt, stand auch mit in der Beschreibung drin. Gab es auch, und zwar eine halbe Stunde kostenlos und den Rest musste man bezahlen, danke dafür. Als wir auf das Zimmer kamen ist uns gleich aufgefallen, dass es nicht richtig sauber ist. Auf der Matratze war ein großer Fleck drauf und zum Glück hatte man einen Bezug darüber, ach warte kurz, stimmt der Bezug auch einfach auch dreckig. Der Boden ist nicht sauber gewesen und ich glaube das liegt daran, dass sie den Boden nicht einmal selber sauber machen sondern dafür einen Roboter haben der in keine Ecke kommt und alles nur mittelmäßig sauber bekommt. Im ganzen war es einfach nicht sauber. Eines früh um 07:30 ging einfach der Feueralarm an, kein Problem wenn es Feuer gibt. Es ist auch wichtig, aber als wir nachfragten war die Antwort, das es keinen Alarm gibt aber den Feueralarm nicht ausschalten können. Also konnten wir erstmal 3 Stunden nicht schlafen, da ohne Grund der Alarm anging. Was positiv ist, dass die Busverbindungen auch in der Umgebung sehr gut ist, das war’s dann aber auch. Im ganzen nicht zu empfehlen.

The travelodge is about 10 minutes walk from the nearest underground station and takes about 45 minutes to get to London proper. There is another travelodge about 30 minutes away and I had trouble getting google/apple maps to select the right location when trying to get around. There are motorcycle groups nearby and they were meeting in the car park late in the evening revving engines, I can’t speak for all floors but the revving was very loud on the ground floor.

Nice basic hotel not too far from center of London. About a 10-15 minute walk to train stop or 5 min bus ride. Breakfast was good. PM/night staff can be more attentive.

I have been all over the world and this is by far the dirtiest, least inhabitable place I ever stayed. The place was filthy and full of vagrants. The entire place smelled like roach spray and piss. Worst place ever!
