The apartment was small but cozy and comfortably accommodated our family of four. The location was excellent, surrounded by classic London charm and just steps away from great restaurants. There was also a Whole Foods Market about a seven-minute walk from the apartment, which made picking up groceries very convenient. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would gladly recommend this apartment to family and friends.

Very clean, great location, quiet neighbourhood. We’ve only had a small issue with the assistant who sped through the checkin without giving us proper information and wasn’t friendly. But, this is a mikor thing because we enjoyed the stay. Sam and James were awesome to speak to via the Hotels.com chat.

Check in was not as pleasant as one would hope. The unit is in a great location, although being located on the second floor, you hear all of the noises made above you , which was a lot, and until very late in the evenings. The unit was not very clean feeling, a little beaten up, but that's what comes from this type of use. We travel a lot, and we thought it was a super location and were happy to be in that area for our short stay. If asked whether we would return, the answer is no, we would look for another accommodation but in the same area.

The room was clean and spacious enough for a short trip. I did appreciate having a washer and dryer (one unit) in the room. There aren't any cleaning services or garbage removal unless requested, but it's an extra charge, so the bin was overflowing by the end of our trip. But the location is great, the building is clean and the shopping convenient. There is a whole foods for groceries, lots of restaurants and tons of shopping. Worth the price.

Great location. Enough space for our family of five to spread out. Listing stated a king bed which was actually a queen. Washer/dryer combo in listing but dryer was broken. Repairman came but didn’t fix issue. Repair caused a circuit to blow. Hard to get in touch with host.

I had a very pleasant stay in High Street Kensington. The location was excellent—very walkable with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The metro station is just a short walk away, making it easy to get around the city and explore different areas. The neighborhood felt safe, lively, and convenient. Overall, a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting

Great location however the space was quite small. We had to put all of our luggage in the living room. The bidet hose was leaking and water puddled around the sink and toilet area. Other than that, it was a good place to stay.

Very good location, easy communication with the owner, absolutely not for 6 adults, sofa bed not for 2, had to extend it with chairs to support feet. Chairs were very dirty, power switches were not always working, no kitchenware for 6, and the apartment was worn out. All bed linen and towels were washed, but had different types of spots. Stayed 4 nights and had to buy additional toilet paper ourselves. Should have asked for a discount.

DO NOT RENT: Warning to all future tenants! THE LANDLORD MISREPRESENTED the unit by advertising an attractive and inviting above ground apartment with City Views using pictures with high open windows furnished lavishly. WE WERE HORRIFIED when our host marched us into a basement level apartment with WINDOWS OF CONCRETE BLOCKS and OBSTRUCTED views typical of a sunk basement walkout. When confronted, the landlord REFUSED to correct the problem, as he had no space available in his other units to accommodate 6 people including my wife and 4 children excited to see London for the first time. Our request for compensation or partial refund was also refused. The furniture was stained and the floors were scratched extensively with tired paint and minimal washroom space to turn around. There was no courtesy extended for the DECEIT advertised on Expedia.

The location was excellent! The Underground station was only about a 7-minute walk away, making it easy to get anywhere in London. Kensington Palace and Hyde Park were just around the corner, which was perfect for walks and especially great if you’re traveling with kids. There was also a Whole Foods nearby for groceries, and plenty of pubs and restaurants right outside the door. The apartment itself was a good size and had everything we needed, but it could have been cleaner. Some of the dishes were still dirty, the shower needed a better clean, and the mattress on the sofa bed had some stains. The sofa bed itself could definitely use an upgrade, as it wasn’t very comfortable. On the positive side, communication with the staff was easy, and the check-in process was simple and hassle-free. Overall, the fantastic location was the biggest highlight and made up for many of the shortcomings.
