very bad, check in process took very long, inconvenience payment at the hotel, cannot pay at the property in spite it stated on hotel.com you can, aircon not working properly, very hot, no one attended to our multiple requests for aircon problem, tissue paper and cleaning of garage can, no one even noticed there was a big garbage bag outside our room door for a few days, no staff present at the property for any assistance required

Location in Kensington was perfect. Listed to accommodate 5 guests. Only accommodated 3 of us comfortably. The couch bed was broken which we communicated to the host. They had no solution. Apartment kitchen and dining table accommodated barely 4 guests not 5. One dining table chair broken. They have a coffee maker but no coffee or filters. No central heating as mentioned. Not stocked with toiletries as promised. Had to request them. Communication with host was not welcomed. Loved London and the neighborhood pub, The Goat!

Overall, this was a pleasant enough stay for 2 adults and 1 child. Unfortunately, there were a number of things that brought my rating down. Firstly, I had booked an 'Elite Apartment with City View' which turned out to be a bottom floor apartment with a view of steps, rubbish bags and the underneath of the pavement of the street outside. We heard anyone and everyone who walked or drove past and had to keep the curtains shut. It felt like it had no sound proofing at all. We could hear every footstep and conversation of the apartment above, which was not great at 1am with a 9 year old. We could also hear the outside and the apartment that was on the same floor as us. The sofa bed was horrendous, too. We all tried to sleep on it at different times and all struggled. Communication prior to the stay was great, until we called a half hour before arriving, which we were asked to do but I don't think the lady we spoke to had communicated this to the relevant person as we had to wait at the door. To be fair, we were earlier than check in but had been told we were okay to drop our bags off. The gentleman who did come to check us in was friendly, efficient and apologetic and I cannot fault him. He allowed us to drop off our bags and gave us the key. Safety did not feel compromised. It was well connected, near the tube, near attractions and was quiet enough (outside). It was also well decorated and had all the amenities we needed. We feel we didn't quite get what we booked.

Pros: Proximity to Tube station and grocery stores, ample hot water Cons: Unit lacked basic kitchen supplies such as dish cloths or paper towel (bought our own kitchen roll), oven mitt, baking tray, etc. Smell emanating from main bathroom shower drain, sink in other bathroom wouldn't drain, lid to garbage can was broken, ants crawling around the unit, and no city view as advertised (we ended up on the basement floor),. Host did respond to some of our concerns but overall, we felt we did not get our monies worth for this stay.

I had a very pleasant stay in High Street Kensington. The location was excellent—very walkable with plenty of shops, restaurants, and cafes nearby. The metro station is just a short walk away, making it easy to get around the city and explore different areas. The neighborhood felt safe, lively, and convenient. Overall, a great place to stay, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting

la chambre n'etait pas conforme aux photos, l'appartement est en fait assez abimé, nous avons eu une fuite un soir dans l'évier de la cuisine et un autre soir, le chauffage marchait au maximum, il faisait 25° dans l'appartment malgré les fenetres ouvertes, impossible de mettre la climatisation. Le personnel était très attentionné, ils ont tout fait pour nous aider, mais ils n'y peuvent rien si l'appartement est defectueux. Et un autre point embêtant que nous avons signalé, une odeur horrible dans les salles de bain tout le temps (egouts, pour ne pas dire odeur d'urine et autre...) Les points positifs sont par contre l'emplacement dans un quartier magnifique, et proche des bus et des metros et des magasins

the kitchen was very poorly equiped. We only made coffee and bread for breakfast. Almost no silverware. However, the beds were comfortable. The shower door was off track. The location was fabulous!

Our booking was apparently ‘lost’ between Expedia and High Street Apartments and we arrived from the other side of the world to no accommodation- despite receiving an email the day before confirming the booking and welcoming us. We paid in full 5 months earlier. We have not yet received a refund.

I was pleasantly surprised by the location of the apartment. We would book again. While the other reviews did mention issues with the lift, we were already accustomed to going up and down stairs. In the future, it might be good to alert customers about this issue. In general, the apartment meet all of our needs for a family of 5. The washing machine was another added perk. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfortable. We had no issues with checking in and out. The person who checked us in was friendly and helped with my wife’s bag.

Location, location, location! Short walk to tube station and buses into central London. Local shops, including M&S and Whole Foods. Good sized fridge, excellent washer/dryer and dishwasher. Very clean and comfortable beds with good storage. Big TV in living room where you can sign into your Netflix or Prime account to watch movies. Good shower pressure and clean bathroom. Overall great square footage for central London!

Disappointing Stay The apartment was generally not clean, and both the sofa and one of the four kitchen chairs were unusable. Communication with the property was extremely difficult — even after several requests, clean towels were not provided for all guests. Customer service was very poor, and they even claimed that previous written reports about the issues didn’t exist. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority for them.

The location is simply amazing- being right by Kensington Gardens, the underground, multiple grocery stores, and plenty of shopping. While the apartment could benefit from a deep cleaning and some maintenance, it didn’t feel dirty or unsafe at all. It was well appointed with everything you need to make the place your home away from home.

Overall our stay was good. Location is the highlight. Kensington is a central, safe area with good transport links and a great high street. Check in was seamless. The apartment was clean and the linen was good but there are maintenance issues which were clearly not new. Broken shower door, toilet seats, cupboard and vanity drawer. Curtains falling down and lamps missing light globes. Half empty shampoo and body wash containers and no tea/coffee etc. This all needs attention. We didn’t get a courtyard/balcony as advertised but we did get a second bathroom which was a welcomed extra. TVs in each bedroom were good, as was air con/heating/wifi. No lifts, be prepared to climb stairs.
