The room was decorated nicely and bed was comfortable however there was no toilet roll at all, no shower gel, just didn't involve any amenities and I can't believe toilet roll and tissues weren't included! The stay was alright, we didn't hate it but probably wouldn't go back
I stayed in a compact room in a town house which had other rooms available. In my room there was a comfortable single bed, towels, a TV and kettle, and on the same floor was a nicely furnished, shared shower room. The room was perfect for my needs (just needed a bed for the night) and quite close to the West End with a handful of shops nearby. The owner introduced themselves via WhatsApp and shared the access code at check in time (4pm); I didn't need any further help but they seemed very approachable.
Decent location, nice clean rooms and kitchen, however was not told beforehand that it was a shared bathroom and struggled to get a reply over message. Was told multiple times that I would be sent a check in code and had to call them 3 times to finally get it. Very nice inside but just beware that it does feel like you're staying in someone's house.

The stay was okay
The stay was correct.
Its self check in, you will not meet someone, but you can call them until late afternoon and they will be very helpful to get you checked in. However if you arrive late at Night they Will be no assistance, that might be inconvenient.
Everything is really clean, you have all equipments for the kitchen and bathroom.
However in the room there is a tv impossible to unplung and which makes little noises all the time.
The room is okay and satisfying for a short stay.
Location is great, few mins walk from Chancery Lane Station.
Accommodation is great, feels fresh, comfortable, good size and a good price.
My only issue is needs better clarity on booking process. Once paid you need to provide deposit and ID through an email link, however its not clear about check-in instructions. This comes through the day of check-in around midday separately.
I was left feeling a bit disappointed with the stay. The decor and cleanliness of the apartment was to a good standard, but there is absolutely no escape from the noise within in the building which meant I had 2 poor nights sleep.
Great place and perfect location but very concerned about having tongive a £300 pound deposit which doesnt appear anywhere while booking through hotels .co .
If youbdont give your card details they wont give you the door codes

The location was just perfect, very accessible via public transport. We received access pin into our email address so there was no confusion and delays. However there were no cups in the room (two that were filled with sugar and milk sachets) only one set of cutlery. There were occasions that there were no shampoo available. There was no coffee but plenty of tea bags in the house.
Good central location and clean/modern rooms, However it is very hard to find the property as it’s actually a houseshare and the check in procedure isn’t explained when you book the room. Huge deposit taken as well (also not made clear upon booking) that I’m still trying to recover.
The price for london is good, location was good and nothing specific went wrong.
but the room was incredibly small with no place to hang clothes. The mirror was not mounted on the wall and the tv did not function. The toilet is shared by two rooms which was not a horrible problem except the obvious inconvenience. There is a downstairs kitchen facility if needed (coffee machine did not function). While convenient for those hopong to eat in, it also means someone can cook a very aromatic meal and make the entire building smell poorly.
In sum, not appropriate for except for short stays on a very low budget.
Cute little guest house, very convenient location. Clean and well kept.
In my opinion, the coloured fairy lights, the fake flowers and the stuffed toys are completely unnecessary, but taste is individual. I’d have preferred a bedside lamp instead.
I booked for one night, Saturday to Sunday. At 7am, the smoke alarm started beeping with that change-the-battery warning. It’s hard to describe how frustrating and annoying that is, when you’ve set your alarm for 10am, because you need a lie-in more than anything. But good to know there are smoke alarms. If you book, please note that the house is right opposite a church, so you’ll have the ringing bells. Also know that this is not a purpose built hotel, but someone’s town house that is essentially an Airbnb. You can hear everything going on in the next room, and I mean everything. Bring earplugs if you want good sleep.

Acceptable, but probably won't book again
Pros: location, had the basics requirements needed, bed was quite comfy, fairly inexpensive
Cons: not clear from listing that it's a shared accomodation, which I would not have picked as a solo female traveller. Bedroom doors lock but still not ideal setup.
Lacking basics that a true hotel would have like toiletries though I brought my own. There was a kettle and tea and sugar, but no cup or coffee or milk in room (?)
Cleanliness wasn't the best, but it was acceptable. Shower sprayed water everywhere - be prepared to mop up the floor with a towel!
Would have been very small space for the 4 people expected to fit in the room! Fine for 1-2 people.
Was a bit taken aback at having to send my ID and £300 deposit in advance (maybe not ideal if you don't want that money unavailable to you?) but it was promptly released from card by the day after stay. Comms werent great - they initially asked me to pay for the room after I'd already paid hotels.com, and later on asked for my ID after I'd already submitted.
Also didn't get check in instructions until 2pm on day of arrival - check in isn't until 4pm but if you like to have all your info in advance it's not ideal. First day in new job and I didn't even know if I was going to be able to check in!
Overall I will probably book something else for my work trips going forward as I'd rather pay more and have less cons, but might consider booking this again if I really wanted the location.
Very good and little advice - would be nice if provide the baggages storage service before and after the stays.
High recommended. X

Shared bathroom, and common areas were a bit grubby and tatty, room was extremely hot even with window open and wall was dirty next to the bed. When booking didn't realise this is a room in a house not hotel.
I had a short stay but it was comfortable and cost effective

The place is not what they advertised. Definitely not a hotel. They didn't give enough inform on check-in. It was difficult to find the place, open the doors etc. I had to keep calling to get help. I didn't even know my room number. I had to ask for a portable heater as the one in the room gave me a hard time to operate and it wasn't warm enough.
The room was exactly as described & pictured. Easy no-key system works well, especially for a late night in the city. Had to call to ask for check-in details and to find out when my deposit is coming back which is not ideal, more communication from staff would have been better. That said, I would definitely stay again!

Looks nothing like the picture, and the listed days there is a bathtub which I would take to mean there is a bathroom only to find it was shared, very annoying as that is not at all clear. It is a basic room with no cups to go with the kettle. I wouldn’t book again, it was clean so if you are ok with a shared shower room and toilet you should be ok but it is just a bed and look absolutely nothing like the pictures they use on the site.
This is not a hotel. You are renting a room in an indecent town home. There is no front desk, and upon arrival you are unable to enter the building without filling out a long form and paying an additional 300 pound deposit that was not disclosed. I'm hoping I am able to get it back.
