「Quiet and restful nights of sleep despite being a motorway services- you couldnt hear any traffic noise at all from the hotel. Staff were very friendly. No breakfast pptions but part of motorway services complex, so amenities nearby for any basic needs. The staff were wonderfully friendly and welcoming, they made us feel very comfortable in the beautiful location. We really enjoyed our pre dinner drinks by the open fire in the guests lounge and learning about the history as we explored the building. Delicious food, we met the chef who checked our exact needs. I booked an executive room (112), and was surprised to note one of the windows looked onto the bin area and recycling, that has lights on most of the night and early morning noise. My bath had mould around the seals, and the bath plug had to be removed with a spoon, which dislodged more mould that floated in the bath.
