「It’s an old property with limited amenities. But it’s well kept and clean. Price is on higher side based on what they offer. Food at restaurants and breakfast are very good. So don’t go out for food if you are staying here.」

「We loved how friendly all of the staff were in the hotel. The family who run the hotel clearly care very much about each and every guest and nothing was too much trouble for them. They are all lovely people who keep their hotel really clean and the beds and pillows were super comfortable. 「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend.」
