「Such lovely, welcoming hosts. Our room had a wonderful view and the bed was very comfortable. We would definitely recommend」

「Good sized room with opening windows. I didn’t anticipate a shared bathroom when I booked. Rubbish bin full, no soap in hand basin dispenser and shower needing a good clean before I could use it. Bedroom clean sheets but stains on the walls. Not very inviting. Great to have parking but grounds need attention. The property was in the next suburb Rosyth not Dunfermline as advertised in Expedia. The Dunfermline property was permanently closed. 3 night stay with no fresh towels or coffee etc. top...

「Very tired hotel. Room very spartan. TV did not work. Shower very small, a real squeeze to get in. Water flow very slow. Breakfast OK, tea tasted awful, undrinkable. Doesn’t look anything like website. Met two members of staff who were very pleasant. Wouldn’t recommend, needs a total refurb」

I was disappointed to discover that the bathroom and shower were shared, as this was not sufficiently clear to me before I booked. If I had realised this in advance, I would have chosen different accommodation. The lack of clarity significantly affected my stay and left me feeling misled.
