The breakfasts are ordered to make. There are a wide varities of choices. The room fittings are true to picture. Even though it is a family room at the lower basement, the natural lighting and ventilation are acceptable.

Staff was really good, but most of the flooring is as one previous reviewer called it cheap "boat flooring" over top of uneven floors. Room felt like a bad apartment in government housing. Furniture didn't match, TV was very small, overhead light just barely lit up the room. I had to use one of the night stand lights pointed up to give us some light. None of those things made the stay miserable, but I would not book it again.

Desde que llegas a la calle en donde se ecuentra el hotel, te hace sentir parte del barrio que es bello, la zona muy segura y tranquila, puedes llegar a pie a zonas diferentes de Esimburgo. El hotel hermoso, cada rincon te hace ver la historia que tiene, y la habitacion es muy acogedora, excelente para descansar.

El lugar muy bien, la habitación era para tres personas pero el sofá cama no tenía buenas condiciones… el elevador muy pequeño, cabía solo una persona con maletas… el bar era atendido por la recepcionista así q prácticamente no eras atendido… el desayuno bien, bien ubicado… etc para dos hubiera sido genial.

Ho avuto un'esperienza a dir poco agghiacciante presso questo hotel, non mi è mai successo qualcosa di simile in molti viaggi nella mia vita. Arriviamo presso la hall dell'albergo situato nei pressi del centro di Edimburgo verso mezzanotte e 30 come più volte comunicato tramite telefono e chat dell'hotel su Expedia, l'albergo ci ha tranquillizzato menzionando il citofono notturno attivo sempre per ogni evenienza nonostante la reception chiudesse alle 23. Morale della favola siamo arrivati e siamo rimasti chiusi fuori senza alcuna risposta, ogni contatto telefonico, anche il loro numero per le emergenze squillava a vuoto. Il 6 febbraio di notte sotto alla pioggia siamo rimasti chiusi fuori e devo ringraziare di cuore il The Bonham Hotel e tutto il suo staff situato a 50 metri dal nostro albergo che ci ha ospitato togliendoci dal freddo e facendoci andare finalmente a dormire

We stayed at the B+B Hotel and were absolutely delighted. It is a very cozy place with a pleasant atmosphere, clean and comfortable rooms where you truly feel at home. Everything is thoughtfully arranged: quiet surroundings, comfortable beds, perfect cleanliness, and a genuine sense of care for the guests. We would especially like to sincerely thank Valeria and Olga — they are truly the gems of this hotel. Extremely attentive, friendly, and professional, always smiling and ready to help in any situation, offer advice, and make the stay as comfortable as possible. Thanks to them, you feel that rare sense of true hospitality that makes you want to come back again and again. Many thanks to the entire B+B team for the excellent service, and special thanks to Valeria and Olga — you truly make this place special. Pros: I came to Edinburgh for the week of Halloween and found this place to be a really lovely hotel in an old Georgian-style building with beautiful architecture. What sold me on it were the gorgeous library and the full breakfast included in the price. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood near Dean Village, about a 20-minute walk into the city center or a 5-10 minute walk to the nearest bus or tram stop. I had an awesome view of the castle from my room's window. Staff were very kind and attentive and offered to carry my bag up for me when the lift was broken, which was a life saver! Cons: Aside from the lift, my only other disappointment was that the full breakfast (ordered from a menu) was only offered for the first few days of my 9-night stay, so I was only able to get the full Scottish breakfast a couple of times before they switched to a regular continental breakfast for the remainder of my time there. Cleaning staff also left someone else's used mug on my nightstand in my room once, which startled me a little since I was staying there alone. I believe they may have been short-staffed due to staff illness, so maybe these things couldn't be helped and are a one-off. Overall, I enjoyed my time staying there!
