「Stayed there a few times over the years . Good location for an over night stop etc. Clean and tidy over all. Friendly staff. It went down a bit a few years ago but seems to have been spruced up recently. Change of ownership? (The tv in the room had seen better days with occasional unresponsive controls. Wi-fi did not load up.)」

「Firstly, the location was great. The Stork is near the M6 and minutes away from downtown Lancaster, yet you feel like you are in the country. We enjoyed a last minute stay at the Stork and feel as though we had found a hidden gem. If the rooms aren't brand new, they certainly appear so. We also had a gastropub style meal at night and a complimentary full English bteakfast in the morning. Both meals were very good. 「A steady clean hotel away from the hustle of the city centre. The staff were super friendly, special mention to Kiran on the check in desk. The room was tight for space but as it was only a one night stay that was perfectly acceptable. The bed was really comfy. The only thing I would knock it for would be there was a lot of dust around the TV area. The gym area looked neat and tidy, I didn’t use them as I’d used a gym in the city prior to arrival. The restaurant area had a nice feel to it even...

「The internet connection is unstable. Other than that, it’s great place to stay. Friendly and competent staff. Clean room. Great bar. The hotel is within talking distance to the Lancaster train station (ca. 13-15 min) and local bus stops (ca. 5 min.)」

「Hotel room was beautiful. I stayed in a large suite and would highly recommend. My only issue was breakfast. I wasn’t told you had to pre order and pay extra for a cooked breakfast. I would have been happy to do that had I known. They’re supposed to give you a form at reception but it was never mentioned. So I didn’t get breakfast. A shame as that was the only glitch on a lovely stay. 」

「I stayed overnight at The Pheasant Inn with my partner. I can only describe my experience as above expectations, The whole hotel is pleasantly decorated and very clean. The staff were very welcoming, polite and the restaurant was fantastic. Generally speaking I tend to book what's available on the booking platforms but having found this gem, will actively search for availability at The Pheasant Inn before trying anywhere else.」
