「We stayed for 6 days over Easter. The hotel is surrounded by countryside and a few buildings nearby yet is close to Whitehaven. The views are lovely - out to sea and across to Scotland. We were made to feel very welcome and the staff were always very friendly. We ate in the hotel most nights, enjoying the well-presented tasty food. My food intolerances were well taken care of. The Rosehill Theatre is not far away and we enjoyed our visit there. The garden is going to be landscaped so wasn't very...

「Super friendly and quick check in. Prompt room change when the room key wasn't working. Excellent spa facilities - notably the thermal pool. Good range of breakfast options (the pancakes from the kitchen order options were fab). Good quality food for evening meal in the dining room. The location speaks for itself - fantastic. 」

「Mainly stayed for Keswick Convention. Walkable distance from Base Camp and Main Tent at Skiddaw Street. It's quiet and near a scenic view from a river nearby. The lawn of the Hotel brings rabbits and relaxing atmosphere to guests. Friendly staff and great self-served breakfast. A good balance of price and service. Will definitely visit again.」

「Location is great. Staff are very helpful, breakfast is excellent and lots of choice. We had a superior room at the Windermere Rooms. I expected a better view/facilities for the cost, rooms were very warm but could be easily fixed by turning the radiators down. Floor in the bedroom was slightly uneven which didn’t affect the stay but something I didn’t expect for the price of the room. I would definitely stay again but probably wouldn’t pay for a superior room.」
