"The Lodge was beautiful and our villa very nice with good amenities. We had dinner at the Lodge both evenings and food quality was very good, though choices a bit limited. Check in staff was a bit curt, not warm. A pleasant surprise was a private cinema which we could book and we enjoyed a whole streamed movie after dinner. The stars were super brilliant. Overall, a very enjoyable visit."

"Loved our stay in the cottage. Very comfortable and well equipped. We came to the Queenstown area to cycle the trails and the bonus was direct access to the Twin Rivers Trail right next to the cottages. "

"I don’t know how this hotel has so many good reviews and high cleanliness rates. Our room was outdated, marks everywhere on carpet and walls - to the point they had taped corners up. It was not clean at all with marks on the bedsheets, mouldy shower and clogged drain, dishes were dirty. A lot was broken - microwave didn’t work, part of the shower broken, lamp broken, and bits of the washing machine. Service was extremely unfriendly at reception. Parking was the only perk but that’s what you get staying in a location so far from town. The heat pump was loud but didn’t work efficiently either. Definitely not a 4 star hotel and not worth the cost. "

"The view was beautiful and the apartment had everything we needed. We were travelling as a family of four (two adults and two teens) and there was plenty of space. The staff were lovely and we really appreciated the mid-stay complimentary clean. The free parking was a great bonus too."
