Absolutely loved the breakfast daily, fresh food, great variety and the staff were all so lovely and helpful. Rooms were cleaned well and beds made daily with fresh towels.
Great location by the lake.
The Hilton in Queenstown is the best place to stay. We loved the very helpful staff who went above and beyond for us. The food was always fantastic and the buffet breakfast was delicious. The views from the hotel are amazing and again the staff were lovely and always ready to help. We will be coming back.
Nice variety of food choices on the breakfast buffet. Front desk staff was very helpful as well as the events desk that can book tickets. Hot chocolate offered in the lobby was delicious!
Beautiful location on the lake with a lakeside view. The water taxi getting in and out of town was great to avoid the traffic. Pick up bus from the hotel to the ski fields very convenient as we as ski rental shop.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is right on the lakefront with beautiful views. The breakfast buffet had lots of options for vegetarians as well.
Didn’t even need to leave the hotel for my wee break, had everything I needed- pool, spa, sauna, gym beautiful and very scenic walking tracks, food and drinks. Super friendly staff. The best wee break
Breakfast was cracken and good, team was helpful, pillows sucked, feather down ok but uncomfortable, rooms tired and same as 10 years ago, but nice area, parking suks as usual
Good position. Lovely to have casual eating options as well as more formal/fulsome. Easy access to town by car (parking near $20 per day) or water taxi to Queenstown.
Rooms and bed super comfy. Pool a bonus on a rainy day.
It didn’t live up to the usual Hilton standards. The room was booked for two people, but only one pair of slippers was provided. There was a hair in the bathroom sink and stains on the carpet. There wasn’t even a bottle of water in the room. As we were very tired and only staying for one night, we didn’t contact the hotel. Although the room’s size and appearance were different from the photos shown when we booked, the view was quite nice.
Everything was great except the bed and pillows. Our bed at home is memory foam, not springs and feather pillows. Otherwise beautiful resort, helpful friendly people and a huge buffet breakfast.
Great location, a ferry runs to Queenstown every hour which is cheaper than an uber, several food options within the resort area which is convenient. The breakfast buffet was great value, wide range of options - highly recommend.
During winter they included complimentary hot chocolate in the lobby.
Lots of nice walking nearby and places to sit and relax, nice fireplace area outdoors near the main restaurant.
Parking was mildly annoying, don’t use the underground carpark if you have a medium or big car as it is pretty tight to navigate. Just use the above ground / open gravel area to park and that’s also closer walking distance to the hotel entrance. If you arrive late you might struggle to find a parking spot, none are reserved.
Pay by QR code for parking is easy, don’t have to pay for a full day either (first 3 hours free). Was fine after working that out.
There was some miscommunication with some staff around buffet prices, but it got resolved promptly and they took care of everything.
Do not use the service in the lobby for pre booking tours, as being a third party that makes it difficult to make changes or cancellations if you have to change plans due to weather etc. Not worth 5% discount for that hassle, plus they charge huge card fee so the savings aren’t worth it.
Great place! Very clean, inviting and our rooms were fabulous. Property was relaxing and we slept like a rock! Being by the lake is so worth it. They offer a water taxi into town which was so convenient.
The hotel is located on the lakeshore and offers a very peaceful, quiet atmosphere.
The fireplace in the room was especially soothing and made the stay feel warm and relaxing.
