Palace Grand Hotel Varese

"Very nice discovery that is this hotel. First, outside there is a large space for parking on the side and the pool is large, very relaxing with lounge chairs all around and even beds. Inside is typical of Italian style hotel, slightly old fashionned but is completely atching the charm of the hotel. Very high ceillings. Massage was amazing and the cherry on top of the cake is clearly the fine dining restaurant where the personal was very helpful and nice, while the Wagyu menu is delicious, particularly the tartare. Car or motorbike needed if you want to go see around the lakes or Milan (~45 min by car probably). Only can reccomend."
Hotel Funicolare

"We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Funicolare. We stayed in a family room, which was absolutely massive, with plenty of space for all of us and a very comfortable stay. The views were amazing and really added to the experience. We also had dinner at the hotel one evening and breakfast during our stay. The menu was varied, with plenty of choice, and everything we had was enjoyable. All of the staff were lovely and welcoming, but Luana at reception deserves a special mention. She was incredibly kind and helpful. We had unfortunately made a mistake when booking and selected the wrong dates, but Luana was so gracious and understanding and went out of her way to help us resolve the issue. Her kindness made a stressful situation so much easier. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend Hotel Funicolare. Spacious rooms, beautiful views, good food and genuinely wonderful staff."

"Matteo was super helpful for me and my wife on our honeymoon, was always a a call or email away, and the free breakfast they serve is fantastic. 10/10 place for sure make sure you bring bug spray ! Haha"
Hotel Cyrano

"Everything was great.From the time Marco greeted us until we left 2 days later. Breakfast was the best we’ve had at a hotel. Staff was unbelievable. If you’re going to Milan and don’t mind taking a short train ride in every day, hotel Cerrano can’t be beat. Also, only a short train ride to the airport. We were given a breakfast bag to go since we left so early. Can’t say enough positive things."
Grand Hotel Menaggio

"The property is beautiful, the pool area especially is magnificent on the lake. The wait staff are great and the bellman try nice but the people at the check in desk did not make an effort to make us feel welcome and they didn’t explain the amenities or give helpful information about the property. The restaurant/food is good. The main level is beautiful, but the bedrooms and especially the bathrooms need an update however everything is clean The showers in the classic rooms are tiny. We had a great stay all in all - would go there again."

"I emailed them to ask if they had any hineymoon services I could pay for and when I showed up they had champagne and snacks in the room waiting for us free of charge. First time since we started our honeymoon that we felt like a hotel went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed."
