「The staff were absolutely amazing!!! We had to book as our plane was diverted to Belize. Our transportation was already waiting when we walked out of the airport. The location is so different, which we really loved. Having to take the little boat across the river was cool! The little cabana’s were very cute! Everything we needed plus more. We would stay there again for a few nights!! 」

「This is an excellent place to stay! The owners (Canadian born Cathy and Dan) go out of their way to make your stay special.. arranging transfers and making tasty meals served on a lovely screened porch. The pool is great and a nice place to relax after a long trip. The rooms are tasteful with very comfortable beds. We stayed here twice on our last stay and really enjoyed both stays it felt like home to come back before our trip back home. 」

「Wonderful stay. Basic but clean room. Quiet. Chuck and Denise are great hosts. You definitely want Denise to make you breakfast. She makes the best Fryjacks. It’s close to the airport so we booked it for our arrival night before heading onto our destination. So glad we booked for the night before departure. 」

「We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. 「The Pickwick Hotel was both clean and spacious but the best part of our stay was the staff. Justin transported us to and from the airport. He immediately made us feel welcome, safe and genuinely seemed happy to see us again. Andean works the front desk and ensured all our needs were met. 「Go here! We took our 17 and 12 y/o and no one wanted to leave. The staff is the friendliest and most anticipatory you will come across. They have your table setup each day, if they hear you mention wanting to try something they will make it happen (they literally went into the jungle and picked bread fruit for us), and they had items ready for every activity we had mentioned possibly wanting to do.
