"This hotel is truly a hidden gem with absolutely breathtaking views of Lake Apoyo, with a stunning volcano rising in the background that makes the scenery even more unforgettable. Waking up to that view alone is worth the stay. The hotel is intimate, with only five rooms, so it never feels crowded and offers a very peaceful, private atmosphere.
The rooms are amazing—spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed—with beautifully crafted bathrooms that feel luxurious and serene. The pool area is spotless and offers incredible views of the lake and volcano, making it the perfect place to unwind. One of the highlights is the peaceful waterfall, which adds a calming atmosphere and makes it easy to relax and recharge.
The staff is friendly and welcoming, making the stay even more enjoyable, and parking is easy and convenient. As for dining, the menu offers a decent variety of options. While dinner didn’t quite meet expectations, breakfast was absolutely amazing and definitely a highlight of the stay.
If you’re looking for a place to disconnect, relax, and fully take in nature’s beauty, this hotel is an exceptional choice."
"The Breakfast was good they only have two types of breakfast when is included in the room it was good.
The air conditioning was perfect specially with the heat it cool the room fast.
The only thing there was no hot water and they should change the shower head not much water comes out."
"Very nice stay. The room was great with an amazing beach view. Food and service we’re very good but prices are comparable to similar quality hotel in the US. So prepare to pay.

"This is the best hotel we have ever been to. It is designed, built, and operated by the owner JC Espinoza, an accomplished architect for his clients. The view is simply phenomenal overlooking volcano Masaya which had a minor eruption on Dec 22, 2024. The hotel also overlooks lake Masaya, an old volcano crater. During our 4 night stay, we were practically the only guests there. So, we had the whole villa and staff to ourselves. Road access to this hotel is rural. Best to have a local guide or ask hotel for pick up. Food is simple and local not fine dining. No buffets. Activities include star grazing at night and playing with the pet cow. Side trip to the historical city Granada is highly recommended. This hotel is simply superior to the $650 CDN per night one we stayed in Costa Rica. "
