"We booked a large room at this property so our grandchildren that live in Samara could come visit us there. When we were told no visitors are allowed, we asked for a refund. They refused,
So we only stayed for 1/2 our reservation time (10 days).
Food was substandard and room was filthy.
Ants were everywhere (kitchen, bathroom vanity, etc) due to the large gaps aroboth door jams.
We reserved a king—they gave us queen and promised to remedy it—they didn’t.
A/C barely kept one room cool (it was 92 outside)
Ask any of the Canadians from Toronto about it, they all agreed with us, especially about the weak buffet.
Swim-up bar and pool were great but pool was too hot.
Be prepared to walk out to the gate in extreme heat as they won’t let soon to pick you up(!)"
"The room was good and spacious.
The swimming pool was very good.
Close to the beach, in particular to Playa Carillo.
Breakfast is good.
Diner is clearly not at the level. frozen food, not typical and the lowest during your stay in costa rica"
"The beaches were unobstructed, the room was very clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent. The views are on unbeatable. The location being close to two beaches was excellent. The morning breakfast was very good as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There was no exercise room, which would’ve been nice."
"Every staff member was attentive and welcoming. Room was large and very comfortable. All dining experiences were delicious with many options. Extremely positive experience for first vacation in 20 years!"
"The staff was exceptional. The location and setting was exceptional. But some things were substandard. Breakfast was boring and same every day. Eg no croissants or breakfast pastries, only bread for toast. No cheese or cold meat or fish selection. No variety of fruits. Rooms were spacious but… no closet, no hangers. No place to hang clothes, no place to hang wet towels and bathing suits. Huge balcony with a tiny two-seater couch with no cushions. No cushions on the indoor couch either. A little attention to deal would go a long way - no tea bags in room. No wine glasses. "
"There was a patio, however, there was no furniture or table. Under the kitchen sink smelled terribly they tried to fix it, but just masked it with a fragrance."
