We were initially looking forward to our stay here, as the hotel seemed decent at first glance. However, our experience was far from satisfactory.
When we arrived in our room, we immediately noticed that the pillowcases were dirty, and shockingly, someone else’s shoes had been left behind. The bathroom was another issue altogether we had to run the shower for 45 minutes before any hot water came through, which was both frustrating and wasteful. On top of that, the cold tap didn’t work, so we couldn’t even fill our water bottles properly.
We reported these issues multiple times to reception and via WhatsApp (as instructed), but nothing was ever resolved. It felt like our concerns were completely ignored.
The problems didn’t stop there. Our room door was faulty, triggering an alarm every time we entered, which was both embarrassing and annoying. There was almost no phone signal inside the hotel, making it difficult to contact anyone or even use the hotel’s own WhatsApp service effectively. The vending machine wouldn’t work due to the signal issues, and I had to wait over half an hour just to get a drink, which we needed since there was no cold water in the room.
Perhaps the most disappointing part of our stay was the attitude of the staff—they were generally quite rude, except at check-out when we were told we wouldn’t have to pay a late check-out fee if we gave them a five-star review. Later, I even received a message offering a discount in exchange for a five-star rating.
