「The room is very spacious and comfortable with most of the necessary items included ! The bed is comfortable and big enough. I chose Junior suit for family stay which would not make us feel crowded. 「It is a bit far from the Basel train station but the tram number 8 can take you nearby, hotel host upgraded my room to a bigger size on top floor, while you cannot imagine it is a big hotel from outside, good bathroom with enough hot and water pressure, easy to reach most of the Basel old town attractions」

「I really enjoyed my stay at the Mercure. After a long drive it was so nice to have a swim in the pool and relax in the jacuzzi and sauna. The bed in my room was so comfy and the room itself was spacious and so quiet. I also loved the blinds to make the room completely dark.
