「Great food, quick and friendly service, clean and comfortable room. 」

「Well located hotel for golf at Silloth. The properties decor is a bit tired and in need of some maintenance. The days we stayed there was only one young member of staff on and she had to look after arrivals, bar work and serving of food. Naturally it was a very slow and frustrating evening for customers as she was run off her feet. How she kept a smiling face I do not know. Some of us even asked if we could help her serve behind the bar to relieve the backlog. She politely refused our offers as...

「This hotel provides a basic room. We did not get food here. (Breakfast cost extra) The room had a very strong mothball smell so we opened the window and left a floor fan running all night. Bedside areas need outlets to plug in phones so these rooms need updating. The sink did not have hot water. For the price this room was not worth it.」

「Truly enjoyed my stay. I wanted something with a little character and not a typical hotel. Honestly booked just thinking it was an older Inn and didn't realize until later it was a bed and breakfast. I thought the room was a pretty decent price so was Pleasantly suprised I got a made to order breakfast with my room. The Proprietor is top notch when you need anything and is always happy to help. If you're ok with an older place with some character then I would highly recommend this place.」

「Had a great one night stop over here. Stayed in the Annex which was spacious quiet and very comfortable. Parking space and an easy walk into town. There was a reasonable choice of breakfast items and it was well cooked and tasty. There was Wi-Fi but unfortunately there was nothing to tell you what the password was which would have been helpful. Overall very happy to recommend this to anyone looking for a stay in Dumfries.」
