"The perfect location. Steps away from all the shopping & dinning places. Also easily accessible by bus to a few tourist attractions. The room was a great size with comfortable bedding & amenities. The tv was a feature that shows you nearby attractions & how to get there ! Staff was friendly and easy to communicate with. Definitely a great location for a 1st timer in Kyoto. Check out a bar called the “Snack Bar A-55” minutes away walking distance from hotel. Glad I booked here."

"This place was great. We had the spa package with our hotel and it was well worth it after long walking days. It was me and 4 teen kids and it fit us all. It was a tiny cramped but as expected. The bedroom had its own thermostat which was nice so I could make it super cold. We really needed the washer/dryer unit but struggled figuring it out. It didn't fully dry everything each time so we had to hang stuff but it worked enough. The luggage storage area was nice and I thought it was convenient to everything with a small walk. Check in seemed confusing to other people but I got it by just paying attention. WI would definitely stay there again."

"Gion Elite Terrace Kyoto was an excellent place to stay and exceeded our expectations. The location was fantastic, with many shops, restaurants, and attractions within easy walking distance, making it a convenient base for exploring Kyoto. Our room comfortably accommodated 4 people and felt surprisingly spacious. Everything was modern, clean, and well maintained. We especially appreciated the thoughtful amenities, including complimentary coffee, free self-service laundry, and automated blackout window coverings that made it easy to get a good night's sleep. The private terrace was a nice bonus and added to the overall experience. The hotel also offered breakfast as an option, which was convenient on busy sightseeing days. The staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. One service we found particularly valuable was their ability to arrange luggage transfer to our next hotel in Osaka (for a fee), which made traveling between cities much easier and stress-free. Overall, Gion Elite Terrace combines a great location, comfortable accommodations, modern amenities, and helpful service. We would happily stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto."

They were able to store our luggage while we waited for our car service after Check out! Room was clean, AC worked great & amenities were nice !! They also had laundry on site if you needed."
