"We just had a great stay at Kata Bai D in Phuket. Besides the very good location, the cleanliness and the unbeatable price (low season), the owner Sam is the main reason for our pleasent experience there. He always helped us alot with organizing all sort of things (airport pick-up, sights and restaurant recommendations...) and just made us feel welcome.
The hotel is situated very close to Kata Beach with lots of restaurants and shops in the surrounding. However, it is quite far from Patong...
"Sugar Ohana is a simply hotel, very clean and has a very good location, close to Kata Street Market(3-5 minutes walking) and a 10 minutes walking from Kata Beach. I do recommend this hotel for a short trip to Phuket Island!"

I had an amazing stay at Kata Poolside Resort! The location is perfect—just a short walk to Kata Beach, shops, and restaurants, yet still tucked away enough to feel peaceful and relaxing. The pool is a highlight: clean, well-maintained, and surrounded by plenty of loungers, making it the perfect spot to unwind.
The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and kept spotless throughout my stay. I especially appreciated the balcony and the overall cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make sure everything was taken care of. Their hospitality truly made me feel welcome.
The on-site restaurant served delicious food at reasonable prices, and it was so convenient to have the option of dining right at the resort. Between the great service, comfortable rooms, and unbeatable location, Kata Poolside Resort exceeded my expectations.

"Had an amazing stay at this resort. The rooms were really spacious and so comfortable to sleep in. The pools were never full so it was super easy to get a sun lounger and the free towels to use were so handy. The staff at the pool bars were so helpful especially at the Pomelo pool which was also over 12s only therefore relaxed and quiet. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming and the shuttle bus service around the resort was a great service. I would definitely recommend a stay at this resort if you are heading to the Karon beach area."
"We stayed in a room with pool access. Best decision we made. After spending the day out in the humid weather it was a blessing to step out of the room and straight into the pool. Breakfast every morning was filling and selection of foods to eat was massive and varied and the staff in the dining room were friendly and seemed to know who we were the first morning there. Domestic staff, who you see everyday, were wonderful and seemed happy to help when needed outside of just cleaning rooms. We will be looking at coming back for another holiday."

The amenities are immaculate, the cafe has a delicious range of breakfast options, the location is ideal for beach days & shopping and perfectly far enough from the hustle bustle and lastly the staff were all incredible. "This is our sixth stay at katathani over 10 years. We have seen the resort change and improve over the years but the basic characteristics are the same: a very large resort along a beach which is almost predominantly used by hotel guests with a number of small restaurants and shops on the outside of the resort and 5 or six within the resort. We came originally as a couple and now we have three children and it is still brilliant. "
