Unique rooms with homey feel. Property was very quaint and updated well. The owners checked on the guests and were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay!

This was an amazing hotel. Very quaint and beautiful. There are maybe a few rooms across the entire building. Rooms are easy to find and access. David, Ryan, and Gene? we’re all amazing to communicate and work with. The Housekeeping staff was great. There’s even a cute little amenities closet for extra towels, toothbrushes, etc. The cost for this was very worth it and not very expensive for the area. Great location with access to the museum and plaza areas. Will definitely visit again.

this has to be one of the most unique and coolest stays I've ever had. The hotel looks like it's right out of a magazine and the bed the most comfortable I've ever slept. This definitely beats the typical hotel by a mile. You must book!

The aesthetic was very lovely, nice ambiance. The actual quality of the room fixtures was inexpensive, not even an exhaust fan in the bathroom. I was sad that the snacks in the room were an up-charge when the hotel was fairly expensive for a night. I thought that there would be more amenities included for the price. The bed was comfortable and the staff was courteous with helping us check-in after hours.

Parking was right out front on the street, the location was great and the building is beautiful and restored well. The staff were great - I didn't read the instructions well and they responded with a text immediately helping us get in (we checked in late) :)

Stayed at the Aida in Kansas City and honestly didn’t expect it to be this good. The space is HUGE. my room felt more like a full suite than a standard hotel room. What really stood out was the design: everything was thoughtfully curated, with a mix of vintage pieces and antique-style decor that gave the whole place a lot of character without feeling overdone. Location is also a big plus. it’s super close to the museums and the Plaza, so getting around was really easy. For the price, this is a really solid experience. Only small downside: because the room is so spacious, it can feel a bit cold at night Overall, would definitely stay again.

The parking was really easy and free! It was very easy to communicate with our hosts and they responded to everything we needed. It was a comfortable room and quiet. I wish our room hadn't been right outside the coffee making machine but it ended up that there was plenty of privacy. The location was perfect.

Let’s describe it as quirky. This is in a former grand house, and has shared spaces including a living room. Our room was quite large and even had a few snacks. We never actually saw anyone else there, as we had instructions to get in. Parking was a short walk away in a museum lot. We loved the closeness to Nelson-Atkins museum, and it was pretty near KC Rep’s theater.

Absolutely beautiful; inside and out! Not only was the place super nice, the staff took it up an extra notch. Everyone was extremely helpful, attentive and communicated with me throughout my stay. Will definitely book here again.

I am in Kansas City almost weekly, and the same can be said for this wonderful little hidden place. You will not find a better place to stay, and for frequent travelers you will not find another home away from home that truly feels like a home... if your home is an amazing mansion right across from an art college and next to an art museum. No receptionist, you just walk in, grab your cup of espresso, maybe sit on the couch for a while and work before going up to your room which I can only say is something that will make you feel like you have really landed somewhere special. But that's me.

What a beautiful place to stay! The rooms were clean and gorgeously decorated, and the bed linens were of good quality. We’d love to visit again in the summer or fall because the porch looked so inviting.
