Excellent location

We stayed for 5 nights. Location is excellent. City tram is right in front of hotel at ¥170/ride. A few stops from Kagoshima Chuo station. We drove. Parking is available at a charge. Parking attendants were friendly & helpful. Short walk to surrounding cafes & restaurants. Family mart next door. Very convenient.

Rooms could be better designed.

Rooms were small. We took a standard twin & it was tight opening 2 mid sized luggages (24”) at the same time. That, we kinda expected but having “cabinets” that do not open for use is a great loss of usable space for guests. Not giving full 5 stars because of this. Otherwise, room was clean & well maintained. Coffee is not provided in the rooms, only Japanese tea & bottled water. Free skincare for ladies at the lobby. Front desk staff are courteous & helpful. Hotspring was a plus. Breakfast was excellent & shouldn’t be missed.
