This pier makes for great sunrise photos. $2 to walk out onto it but totally worth it. Lots of avid fishermen to entertain you AND they sell beer and other beverages to carry out there with you. The Wilmington/Wrightsville Beach is a great area to visit with numerous excellent breweries and many great restaurants.

「Very nice hotel - clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast. The hotel is only 8 minutes from the beach; fresh Market and Belks are walkable. The only drawback was the room we stayed in faces the street. Even though we were on the third floor we could still hear the road noise throughout the night. 「Traveling with adult kids means they don't want to share a bed in a regular hotel room (or sleep on a sofa bed), but getting separate rooms often means being at different ends of the hall. Staybridge offered a suite with rooms and beds for everyone, for the same price as getting 2 typical hotel rooms. It was convenient, clean, and the staff was wonderful. We do wish the "living room" area in the suite had more room for sitting -- another chair or 2, or another sofa would have been perfect.」

「People that actually care about people is hard to find!!! , and EVERYONE here genuinely cared for us. Havent felt this much hospitality in ages. Gave us all toothbrushes because we forgot ours. Helped us get into our car when we lost the keys , let us enjoy the pool after check-out while we still didn't have our keys. Answered front desk phone promptly and kindly every time day and night. Just so nice and helpful....What an incredible group of people! Thank you guys again! 」
