But may not be for travelers who don't like being constricted by rules (no eating in rooms, quiet hours, etc) but you are basically staying in someone's house so be respectful."

"We came to Zen and Pine Resort to hike Mt. Yushan. Although that wasn’t possible due to road closure, on the manager’s advice, we instead visited nearby Sun Moon Lake and hiked Mt. Shuishe, which was amazing and rescued our whole trip. I can’t say enough good things about the management of this property. "No free shuttle to Shitou Forest Park as before. The lady at front counter didn’t show warm welcome. No milk served in the breakfast buffet. "
