"We got the room with a private hot tub and lake view which was nice. However the wood finishes inside the room showed the test of time, and there was only a small upholstered seat, so cannot enjoy looking at Sun Moon Lake as much. The rate included half board (breakfast and dinner), both at an enormous dining hall with many food stations served buffet style. There were so many guests (200-300?) that dining was in 2 shifts. Apparently many tour groups were bused in. I don't know where they stayed, as the wing we were at was pleasantly uncrowded."
