「This is in a wonderful area of the Catskills with a creek streaming in the back if you wish to visit it. I've stayed a few times and I've seen many people take their dogs to Black Bear. They love the treed property for walks. It's close to farm stands or antiquing in the various towns along route 23.」

「Shadowcrest is a gem and instantly felt like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was amazing, and Brendan is extremely charming, informative and hospitable. Will absolutely be staying again and again!」

「Lovely place. Very comfortable beds. The only draw back was that our room was right by the drive way. Felt as if we were in a fish bowl. Maybe get some sheer drapes. Also, no coffee making facilities in our room, and no food offered at the foyer space, only coffee.」
