「Black Bear lodge is a great getaway and excellent base to explore the area as it’s so central. We had excellent communication ahead of our check in, a real warm welcome and helpful with dining tips. The room was spacious and comfortable. The lodge is just off the main road but if we heard a car we didn’t notice, it’s so quiet around there. 「Very nice resort, great pool and hot tub.Room was very clean and had a complete kitchen. The game room was decent, but nothing to write home about. Only issue was the coffee maker did not have the pot to go with it. I had to put my cup under the spout and push up against the coffee maker nozzle with my fingers to coax the hot coffee to come out! HOT coffee which my fingers didn’t enjoy.」
