Shadowcrest is a gem and instantly felt like a home away from home. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was amazing, and Brendan is extremely charming, informative and hospitable. Will absolutely be staying again and again!

The room was nice and cozy. We had everything we needed. There were waters waiting for and Brandon had an ice bucket and wine glass ready for our cocktails. The breakfast room was delicious breakfast goods 24/7.

I can’t recommend this charming inn enough. Beautiful, clean, comfortable, peaceful and the staff is so friendly and welcoming. The day after I left I booked my next stay. I can’t wait to go back. You must stay here if you are in the area.

The Shadowcrest was a delightful, quiet and wonderful stay. Brendan is an amazing host. Friendly, helpful, gracious and one of the best we have come across. The room was a combination of old style Victorian and modern. On a very quiet street. Would definitely stay there again.

What a nice weekend away in the Catskills. Brendan the host was incredibly warm and welcoming. The bed in our room was very comfortable, furnishings were thoughtfully placed and the house was beautiful. Absolutely loved the front porch and the shower in our room. Can’t wait to stay again. So affordable as well.

Brendan was very friend. We had a very relaxing stay. We felt like we had the place to ourselves, it was so quiet. Bed was very comfortable so slept very well. Bath was nicely remodeled. It was the perfect location for us to attend a local wedding.

Incredible house, very vintage and cozy; the porch in the front of the house is out of this world on a rainy night - you can see literally all of the stars! The room was very nice, the shower, the bed was quite comfortable. The best part of it all was our host; he was extremely helpful, friendly and down to earth. My wife and I loved the area and the gourmet markets and organic food we ate literally everywhere; everything is fresh from the local farms. We even found (through our host) a local Buddha temple/monastery that we actually went in and visited, the people were very very welcoming. Highly recommend a stay here. I give our host 11 Starz, SOLID.

I would give Shadowcrest ten stars if I could! An absolutely beautiful home in the Catskills. The attention to detail in this guest house is amazing. Everywhere I looked was something delightful. I could lounge on the porch for hours. The bed and the pillows were comfortable, but the shower was to die for. Brendan was charming and engaging to talk to. And my dog was welcome. I can not say enough good things about this place. We will definitely be back!

The building and furnishings were very tasteful and comfortable. I loved the antique feel and those lamps!!!! Host was just lovely and friendly. Breakfast was abundant. And the drive there was stimulating to say the least. Cute little street.
