Not great

Have stayed here a few years ago, sad to say it’s gone downhill. Holes in the wall, barely any furniture in the rooms, there was no dresser or tv stand, just a sheet of plywood mounted on brackets. The ceiling fan had a cord running across the ceiling and down the wall to the extension cord that was dangling from the plug for the tv with a bunch of other stuff plugged into it. Never stayed anywhere quite like that before. Didn’t feel very clean or cozy in the rooms. The door didn’t latch, so had to always use the deadbolt to keep it closed. Didn’t feel very safe with my kids. Ended up cancelling our booking for our return trip home and staying somewhere else.
The room we stayed in included this “furniture” as well as 2 beds that wouldn’t stay in place (they were on wheels), a countertop type nightstand between the beds, and a kitchenette.

The property was not in great condition. The staff were not available when I arrived. After ringing a bell to get staff’s attention I waited wondering if anyone was there. When staff came they were talking on the phone and continued to talk on the phone while I waited. After initial check-in, I then had to wait to receive a key for my room. The room was okay.

This place is not for everyone but I love it. I have stayed here multiple times and it's always been a great experience. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not much by way of added perks but a great place to get a good nights sleep and a nice shower.

Safety doesn’t apply here.

Check in was horrendous and took forever. We had 3 rooms and one of us was given keys to a room that was occupied. They were then given a key to another occupied room. I was given a room with dirty towels thrown on a cabinet. I was then shown several rooms and told to pick ones . A lot of keys thrown around with little security. No one should provide internet service for this hotel as there is a lack of security and carelessness with patrons keys.

The place is a scam

No has out dated curtains fell off the wall no screen in the window no toilet paper no cable place was a crap hole and they charged me a extra $200 I want my $200 back I'm not paying for curtains falling off the wall cus you don't no how to put Sheetrock anckers in. It doesn't look like it's the first time they fell off for how big of a hole was in stat area.

Arrived at 6:45 pm to check in. Outside office door propped open with a pail. Sign said ring door bell. Rang it twice. Young ( maybe 8 years old) boy shows up. Asked a couple questions and got no response. Either didn’t understand or couldn’t speak. Never found, saw, or spoke to an adult. Definitely not a functional motel at this time. And Human services should check on the boy

Worst hotel booking ever

Worst hotel situation ive ever had. Says everywhere that check-in time is 3pm to midnight, was there at 930pm and the place had all the lights off at the front desk, there was no one there and no one answered. Then spent almost 2 hours playing the run around game with someone from hotels.com customer service before they wanted to transfer me to a different hotel over an hr away, never booking through this site again was extremely unprpfessional all the way around

A little disappointed

Overall the property is decent. I picked the property because I am on a fixed income and it was the most economical place in the area. When I checked in I didn't have my reading glasses with me so I signed the receipt without seeing the total charge but quickly realized they were charging me 11 dollars and some change more than my guaranteed reservation was booked for. The lady apologized but claimed to not know how to refund the money. She was very polite but as I mentioned I am living on a fixed income and every little bit can make a difference so it was pretty disappointing. Even though the stay was acceptable I don't plan on staying there again.

Closing for good reason

After making a booking on hotels.com we arrived to find no one at the hotel. We called a number posted and they said they told Hotels.com to stop booking because they were closing. We were then directed to find the cleaning lady to see if there was a room. She showed us one but we declined and the entire place was dark and smelled damp and moldy and the floor was squishy. This place is not adorable. It’s disgusting.

Dreary, bad wifi, poor service, missed opportunity

Sadly the motel doesn't live up to its potential. The common areas are dreary, to say the least - dimly lit, poorly maintained - offering an off putting first impression. There was music piped into the hallway with a speaker oh so perfectly aimed at my door - I was treated to that all night. The room itself showed an attempt to actually be cute, with a back-woods theme and custom painting that showed at one point someone was at least trying. The effect was completely ruined, however, by an over-abundance of warning - practically threatening - signs. Do not smoke or we'll prosecute you and that will destroy your hope of ever holding a job again. Do not wash dishes. Do not cook in your room because our pest control bill is already too high. Etc, etc. I have never stayed in a place with so many postings in so many places threatening its guests... When I tried to connect to the wi-fi, the signal was weak and coming in and out. Clearly this was a known problem as their were two wifi-extenders also listed, but they had different passwords. I called the front desk for help and was told it was just the one wi-fi, the password was in the room, and hung up on me while I asked about the extenders listed. The electrical outlets were so worn that a cell phone charger wouldn't stay plugged in. In the end of all, it was a bed for a night. But I bet for only a few dollars more I could have stayed at a place that didn't presume I was a criminal and actually had wifi that worked.
