「TL:DR, The room was clean and the bed was comfy. I paid Expedia extra for a room that wasn’t available, and the staff accommodated as much as they were able and was very friendly. I very much appreciated that. I wanted to stay here because I’ve driven by it literally hundreds of times and the atrium chandelier always looks so nice from the freeway. Inside, the rest of the hotel is also nice, just old. The carpeted floor is just slightly sticky in the way that most South Louisiana hotels are....

「Beautiful house and setting. We loved the garden and the outside seating. The breakfast was traditional Louisiana with all guests seated together ‘a la famille’ We stayed in the Victorian room which was spacious and well equipped.」

「Staff upon arrival was not the friendliest, was more worried about being on her cell phone rather than helping guests. Hot tub was not "hot". Overall we love the hotel, not our first visit & not our last.」

「No cold water in the bathroom sink 1st night. Thought breakfast was included. Apparently was not. It was about $15. Ridiculous. Overused lumpy pillows. Ripped curtains. Not impressed.」

「Unique spot next to a wonderful venue with Zydeco music. Music carried through the room but somehow that's just fine.」

「Such a cute little gem, right outside of downtown Lafayette. The house was lovely inside and out. The recent renovations and layout of the house makes it feel so much bigger than it is. The vaulted ceilings, and beautiful attention to details in the interior design made this a new place to stay when we visit! 」

「I actually want a refund my towels and rags were stained, roaches in the bathroom just overall too expensive for the condition I’m still waiting for contact from Expedia about my cancellation」

「The room was a very nice size . Plenty of room for stuff. Tv had local channels. Smell of smoke was very potent! Sheets were clean however, the fridge could have used a wipe down, and the tub. Coffee pot carafe was the wrong size so you can’t actually make coffee, but they did have coffee and condiment's for it. Close to downtown and cajundome. Price was exceptional.」

「You can't expect luxury at this price point, but if you're just looking for a place to shower and sleep, this'll do the trick. I didn't personally have any major issues with my room, and the staff was kind and surprisingly alert considering how late in the night I arrived!」

「Terrible Customer Service – Will Not Return ​I accidentally left my USB charger in the room and called to check if housekeeping had recovered it. The representative, Mike, was incredibly nonchalant and dismissive. Rather than checking on my missing item, he bizarrely started questioning me about an ice bucket. The lack of professionalism and care was shocking. I am furious with how I was treated and will absolutely never stay here again."」

「The staff over the phone was very helpful but when my daughter checked in late at night and didn’t feel safe at all. She ended up driving away and going to another hotel. Most of the property was closed down, windows had wood boards on the windows. Not family friendly at all.」
