"While this stay lacks in the polished stays of a fancy resort it makes up ten-fold in charm and personality. This was the coziest most wonderful stay we've had on our trip yet and we'll definitely be back. Located a mere 4 minute walk from the train station and a 1 minute from the beach this was the low key break we needed. The stay was clean with great amenities. The foot bath and soaking tub were great ways to end each day and the locality to nearby convenience stores made grabbing a bevvie...

"Excellent Glamping Experience with Delicious BBQ!
My wife and I recently stayed at Forest Glamping Kanade no Mori Resorts, and we had a wonderful time. We were a bit concerned about the weather forecast as rain was predicted, but luckily, it cleared up on the day of our stay and we enjoyed perfect conditions.
The highlight of our trip was definitely the BBQ dinner. The food was absolutely delicious and plentiful, making for a memorable dining experience under the stars. The glamping tents were...

"It was AMAZING! My friend and I stayed for one night and it was the highlight of our entire trip in Japan. The food was incredible, the staff were extremely nice and helpful and attentive. And of course the onsens were immaculate. Everything was top tier, would highly recommend this for anyone looking for a classic Japanese experience but with modern comforts and breathtaking views!!"

"Can’t say enough good about the staff. This place was such a fun experience. We did three nights and maybe we should have done just two only because of the futons on the floor and we’re not as young as we use to be. Also, if I had one minor suggestion it would be for them to have a means to get coffee on site. I totally get it’s an experience and they have tea but for us coffee drinkers.. we gotta have it! Lol"

"I was worried because I missed my train and was stranded in the area. I booked and got to the hotel after 10pm but the staff were welcoming and understanding. I really appreciated them! Slept very well!"

YuYu Hakone - Private Open Air Onsen Usage Guaranteed
10/10 Excellent
"It’s a good idea to message the hotel beforehand to reserve the onsen on the evening you arrive; we were lucky that there was a spot available, but you will have no problem getting a spot any other day. The onsen is such a nice way to unwind after a long day of exploring this gorgeous mountain area.
Yoi tabi wo!"
"Clean and very big room with all the necessary ameneties - the prívate onsen are amazing.
My only sugestión is that the location is quite isolated probably next time we would choose another one but the room 10/10"
"The view of Mt. Fuji from our balcony was amazing each morning and was the highlight of our vacation.
Pros: The private onsen, sauna, size of unit, 2 toilets, 2 showers, quiet location (on Lake Ashi) across from 7-eleven and where Pirate ship would dock, bathroom amenities provided, kitchen with tools to cook.
Cons: can’t pinpoint but smell of rooms were musty especially when AC was turned off. A lot of dust around and sofa in one area was stained and should be cleaned; Difficulty with washing machine. It doesn’t dry fully so hang your clothes overnight.
Otherwise, location and view was breathtaking."
"The one amenity that makes this property enjoyable is the private bath on the outdoor deck. WiFi never worked the three days of our stay. The property is located on a hillside so be prepared to walk steep slopes or take a taxi. "
