「What an absolutely pleasant surprise this was. Very friendly and helpful hosts and the room we had was wonderful. Compact to be fair but well presented and very well appointed. Parking right outside and off street with a very pleasant walk down to the wonderful place that Oban is. The only negative was staying for only one night. Could have gladly stayed another three or four but the one night was memorable all the same thanks to wonderful hosts.」

「港町オーバンの便利な場所にある小さなホテルで駐車場はなかったものの、ホテルの人に「土日は路上コインパーキングが17時以降は無料」と教えてもらえた。 部屋はやや狭めで冷蔵庫なし。特に不便さは感じなかった。 宿泊料金に含まれている朝食(確か朝食無しのプランはなかったはず)の豪華さには驚いた。ビュッフェスタイルでパン、飲み物、ヨーグルト、フルーツなどを取って食べ始めたら、ウエイトレスさんがテーブルにやってきて、どのメニューがよいか？と聞く。メニュー7つほどあり、これ絶対料金だよね、と夫と話しながら値段を探すがどこにも書いていない。思い切って聞いてみたら、無料で一人一皿付いていますと。そして適当に選んで出てきたのが写真のとおり(一部食べかけですみません)食パンに卵、野菜、ハム、アボカドディップなど豪華に乗ったもので、まわりを見渡すといずれのメニューも工夫を凝らしておいしそうでヘルシー！10日間のスコットランド旅行で一番豪華でコスパのよい朝食でした。」

「Another fantastic stay at Aspen lodge where nothing is too much trouble and you are served amazing breakfasts. Stayed for a week and we literally had a different breakfast daily. You can eat indoors or outdoors too here. 「The hotel is lovely, very tastefully renovated, the bedroom we stayed in (Uist) was extremely comfortable with a proper sized TV. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were top notch. Beautiful large walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. Everything about the hotel was done with care and attention, you felt like part of the family. Great food, breakfast and superb coffee. There are beautiful views across the loch from the hotel, you can spot wildlife in the crystal clear waters and enjoy...
